That is up with one of the worst games I have ever seen.
Archie Thompson should never wear the green and gold again, he didnt even look interested at all, it looked as if he was being paid by the bloody indonesians.
Jamieson was dissapointing, someone should tell him you can also pass forward.
Reid hit a good freekick but was quiet, McKay had the same problem as Jamo, Allsopp was taken off when he was really our only route too goal. Simon was good for what he did.
We couldnt take free kicks. Vargas, Moore and Galekovic can walk away with their heads held high because they played solidly and did the job they had too do.

How shiraz cabernet was the pitch! Probably favoured us screwing up their 1-1 chance however.

very humid and a pitch that a disgrace. Nice of the Indonesians to scream and make a ruckus thru our national anthem also. Moore, Vargas and galekovic did well. Jamieson poor. Matt Thompson was awful.

Pondeljak is also another one I meant to comment on. He cant cross, he just ran in bloody circles with the ball and was never looking up, just down at the ball until he lost it, in which he would look up at archie or danny and tell them too "fucking make a run"

Absolute joke and shows how crap our Aussies players are in the A-league.
Watching the game last night explains why Adelaide United struggle to score, players like Reid have very little attack or creative flair in them, Jamo is a jack in the box but when he got into the front third his passing suddenly turned to crap. They were not the worse performances, Thompson needs to pull his head out of his preverbal, stop thinking he is a world beater and play some sort of football.
How serious are we to making this World Cup. We should be thumping teams like Indonesia. 2 points missed. Pim and crew underestimated Indonesia and it has back fired on them.
How can anyone be happy with that performance. Disgrace…

YB, take a pill , this was an Asian Cup Qualifier , nothing to do with the World Cup, and do you think Indonesia has 150 players playing overseas in Europe ?

i know! he kept saying that Pim should be "reasonably happy" with the performance.... what the hell does "reasonably happy" mean?
WE PLAYED TERRIBLE FOOTBALL.... we were actually outclassed by indonesia.
Hill + Slater + A Socceroos team made up entirely of A-League players = 1 Giant

Good pick up poveman, I meant Asian Cup, still half alsleep from the lack of sleep last night.
Fair point, it is only the Asian Cup but we need take the easy games when we can, who knows what can happen down the track.

YB tbh the Asian Cup does not have anywhere near the profile of the Euro so at this stage I see it as a good chance for us to troll through the A-League players to see if their are any worth investing in for the future.

If you brought the European players back for games like this, pretty soon no-one would be coming. Club Managers may release them for World Cup qualifiers but no chance for these games.
What a waste of time staying up for that one was!

I went to bed at half time - seems like I made the right choice. Good on Eugene at least for having a 100% clean sheet record with the 'Roos!
