Metro United win the Double
League result stood as 5-2. Cracker of a Cup Final last night with a 1-0 win to Metro thanks to a Lauren Steer cracker. Justice for the best team in the League this season.

Good to see a young female coach come up through the playing ranks and now start her coaching career with an impressive double.
Hopefully more ex-players and eventually current players, follow suit. The game needs them to stay on and continue to participate.

Actually Metro have won the Triple as they won the Reseves League as well .

Fantastic crowd for a fantastic event.
Adelaide City gave Metro a real game and could have took it to extra time in the dying seconds when they hit the post.
Really well fought out game by the best two teams in the league.
Great to hear lots of comments around the ground regarding the quality of football and entertainment brought by both teams.
Congratulations to Metro League and Cup winners and Reserve League winners in their 10 Year anniversary.

Why the sarcasm Otto? The referee handled the game very well on this occasion. Mind you, it was obvious that the two teams were told to tone down the physical stuff and just play football after last week's game. It was a great Cup Final between the best two teams in the league. It could have gone either way. Congratulations Metro on the double. Well done to City who put in a brave effort and contributed to the exciting spectacle that it was.
