63 seconds of applause for Phil Hughes on tuesday
that's more time than is given for thousands of people who gave their lives and died during conflicts.
Re: 63 seconds of applause for Phil Hughes on tuesday

Aussies are very good at the wailing and the gnashing of the teeth as much the same way they are at whingeing.
They still have a remembrance ceremony for the seven people who died in the Newcastle earthquake. Meanwhile 1500 people are killed on the roads each year with barely a whimper.

Time for some righteous indignation

Lets face it, they were going to do something to recognize and acknowledge Phil Hughes in some way. Do it prior to play, and get on with the game. No issue with it at all.

I agree, do something but 63 seconds is showing more respect than to others who did more.
