My 4 year olds recreation activities in a year:
- Swimming $190 a term (full year $760)
- Dance classes $130 a term (full year $520)
- Art classes $170 a term (full year $680)

I guess it's on par with other activities.

why wont somebody please let the kiddies dance, swim and paint!!!!!!

What if you have three children playing say under 10, 12 and 14 soccer? At FFSA level?? Gee need a few spare biscuits to pay for the fees???? Boots, transport etc etc

- Dance classes $130 a term (full year $520)
- Art classes $170 a term (full year $680)

I guess it's on par with other activities.

what does it cost to get them to.....

ride a bike
kick a ball at the park with mates...actually, play any sport
climb trees
go fishing along Linear Pk
make your own kite and fly it
etc etc

I wasn't saying that I had an issue paying. I was making reference that playing football and doing some other rec activities that the costs are similar.

Although without doubt the death a tradagy. How is junior fees even on the same level as a death?

It would be like not being able to crictise the australian labor party because gough whitlam had died.

I happen to think dedes is a twat, but il defend his right to free speech. Il defend anyone's right to free speech including hawksey and victor Vaughan. unless, of course, that speech is defaming, racial or religiously insightful. I hardly think that this is even close to being any of these. Let alone hurtful to family and friends of Matt. Personally I would be more offended if junior fees where correlated in the same speech as a death just because they worked for the same organisation.

Matt is a very widely respected member of the football community and also a respected member of FootballNews. He works for the FFSA and undoubtedly many in that organisation are hurting at this time.

We make no judgement as to what people consider to be offensive when someone complains and we just move or delete it. Freedom of speech does not mean the freedom to offend others.

John Dedes has already been warned about his postings in the forums in the past fortnight and he has not heeded the warnings.

If you dont like the way we run this forum then go somewhere else. There is nothing forcing you to be here but if you are here then you are going to have to put up with the fact that there is some moderation of these forums. The moderation is not perfect, we miss a lot, but we try and its all done be volunteers who donate their time.

I am going to draw a line here - this moderation issue has taken up too much of everyone's time and the decisions have already been made and so cant be changed. Continuing to argue is wasting everyones time. So either you give it a rest or we are just going to remove you from the forums rather than waste any more time on it.

These forums are for football fans, for football fans who are fair and reasonable towards each other, for robust but fair discussion and also for taking the world game forward in this state.

I never got a warning, or a reason.
