Re: Suarez out of the World Cup
Calm down - there is always a story about a 'miraculous' recovery to a star player before the World Cup - it may well be Suarez this time round. I'd still expect him to be there. I wish he wasn't.

That too, Bomboff. But IMO a lot of players regard the World Cup as the pinnacle of their careers.Bomber wrote:Great news. Then he should be fully fit for Liverpool's 14-15 campaign!
Ya wouldn't wish serious injury on any player, so I reckon those doing so are tongue-in-cheek.
Thank goodness for keyhole surgery these days compared to the slash-and-burn 10cm gashes to trim cartilages back in antiquity when the-injury-of-surgery was often worse than the injury itself.
I hope the cynic who alluded to this being just pre-Cup goss is right and we see Suarez entertain us @ Brazil 2014.

Arsenal fans are easily the most bitter of any set of supporters these days.

I know, you have to wonder why though.
4th placed trophy & FA Cup, there's enough reason to be optimistic without insisting Liverpool with crash and burn back to 7th.......
Anyway, let them eat lemons!

Do you ever take off your one eyed Liverpool glasses? Still consoling yourself with your history and tradition? Like it has been said they dO still have more to show for their season so I can't see how they are the most bitter.BTAC wrote:Arsenal fans are easily the most bitter of any set of supporters these days.

In those bad old days such an injury usually ended your career - now it can see you back playing in two weeks - amazing!
I do hope he is fit in time to play a part as I hate it when the 'best' players are not there at the WC - it is the stage when we can really see how good they are.
The older I get the better I was.

Says the bloke who offered 1000/1 that Arsenal would finish higher on the ladder........

Re: Suarez out of the World Cup
I didnt think Liverpool had a chance of finishing above us (like 95% of the footballing population), I was wrong.....ive moved on.
