What's your favourite football stadium and why? I really love these grounds:

1) Camp Nou
2) Estadio Azteca
3) Saitama Stadium
4) Old Trafford

I'd be particularly keen on seeing some pics of Rushworth Oval.

I like and not in any particular order.

AAMI park, wonderful atmosphere created there. I went to see Heart with only 6k other fans and it felt full.
Emirates, Every seat has padding! pretty easy to get to.
Griffin Park, Brentford's home ground the Eastern stand was built as far as I know purely by the club's fans money.
Millenium stadium Cardiff, alters the entire feel of the city IMO giving it a futuristic feel with a medieval back drop.
Hindmarsh, great viewing from every angle and the wonderful memories I've had there, getting it enclosed would create a much better atmosphere though.

Worst stadiums

San Siro, was built in the 90's but feels like its a 1000 years old.
Parc de Princes, Luckily I had two tickets otherwise I would have had to sit on the fat Frenchman's lap who was encroaching on to mine. Certainly in need of an upgrade.
Stamford Bridge, the worst behaved fans, crappy cream brick façade and old facilities for a club that is supposed to be the bling club of the bling league.

Yeah the San Siro was opened in 1925 IIRC. The third tier and roof was added for Italia '90.

I haven't been, but have heard it's run down in some places. Well, they've got a few years to bring it up to speed before the 2016 Champions League Final.

Isn't Inter looking at doing a Juve and building their own stadium as well? Makes sense since they only usually get more the 50k to Milan derbies and massive UCL games (which haven't happened for a while.) I'm so surprised that with the size of the clubs, as far as I know Juve are the only ones to own their own stadium. You would think both Milan clubs and Roma would have looked at it seriously by now.

In part, but clubs have wanted to build their own stadium for longer. Juve's financial success at the new venue shows what they are missing. Juve are more in line with revenue other clubs around Europe generate from their all-purpose stadium, rather than other Italian clubs which rent off the council and get very little revenue.

The former.

Oh, and forgot to mention - Udinese are in the middle of redeveloping the Stadio Friuli, with the same deal as Juve (leased from the council for 99 years).

I actually went to the San Siro in 1973 and it was a shithole then and the toilets were worse than those in the Central Market.

Millennium is great for viewing. But the infrastructure is lacking.
