Goes to show the inequality of the award of places - one of these two could miss out and yet there is a chance that Lucas Neill could be there!

Both Croats and Iceland happy with who they got...faaark me, the way Croatia are playing they don't deserve to be at the WC...but if they can't beat Iceland over 2 legs they can't have any complaints on missing out on the big dance.

Koscielny with another brain fade. He is a good player but makes too many game changing mistakes....Wenger needs another centre back in Jan.

Hollow celebrations by our old sparring partners, Uruguay.

After thrashing Jordan 5-0 in Amman, the bludgers coasted through a 0-0 draw in front of their subdued fans in Montevideo - even with sharpshooters Suarez & Calvani in the team.

I guess they only had to go through the motions, but their crowd was definitely deflated and the celebrations of being the 32nd country to qualify for the 2014 Finals in neighbouring Brazil looked flat.

"Calvani" claimed other sides were disappointed Uruguay have qualified for Brazil in his press conference...

On Tuesday.

What did you expect? It was always a forgone conclusion.
