fresh start for 2014 might be healthy for the boys, 2-0 is respectable and shows character in some hard times

Didn't see many there to support there A's...The club has 3 sides but was a ghost town, feel sorry for the guys that put in. Pretty ordinary by the boys that just didn't give a fuck.
Even there star midfielder from Fulham was on the BBQ helping the club out...Pitty he didn't have too many mates.

I can say the lack of confidence in front of goals kept the purple Eagles in the game.....FINALLY in the last 20 minutes the boys realised they can shoot at goal, was good to see. I will say we had 6 clear cut ops and another 4 chances....The boys work their asses off but do not take the spoils.....Supersatrr is back next week with his partner in crime in the Mid field....We need to finish hard against the Monarchs.

Deja vu alright! Incredible that the game was a carbon copy of the last. Game of two halves I reckon. We looked great first half, then lost it a bit in the second. No complaints, but I think the ref gave you guys plenty of opportunities to score that equalizer . You had plenty of set piece opportunities prior to the equalizer, but we can only blame ourselves as we missed that sitter on the goal line to go 3-1 up. Credit to you guys for plugging away and stealing a point at the death. Yeah Patty's all class, and we missed his link up play a bit towards the end when he had to come off.

Exciting game none the less, and I told you there'd be no more clean sheets for you lot!

Was a great game, I thought we were in trouble going 2 down early... We seemed half a sleep and lethargic?? I think the break last week end didn't work for us actually??? Credit to our lads for fighting back and earning a point. We could've crumbled but instead fought our way back in the game. It was funny to see one of our lads take a long throw and throw it over all the players including the goalie into the back of the net Disallowed of course. I played with Schimizzi and Calabria when I was younger.. I think if Patty had a bit of assistance up front, you guys would be awesome. Good luck and all the best for what is left this season!

So you obviously were in some good company back in the day. Schimmi and Calabria are both class too, and we've missed them a lot, as they've both been out for most the year through injury. I definitely agree with you regarding Patty. We got our coach Steve as well, who is a class striker himself (despite the missed sitter ), but he hasn't played much this year as he tends to play the other lads before himself. He would be the best partner for Patty up top, and when they have played together, they usually both get on the score card. Steve thinks differently to me in that regard, as I believe, if you're one of the best 11 at the club, you should be starting regardless of whether you're the coach or not.

He broke his collarbone against Stirling about a month ago. Seems to be healing well though.
