Just wondering what the steps to starting up a new club, what are the requirements?

Chris35, I ask the following questions with complete respect assuming you intended to start a new club........

Do you have a genuine reson for starting a new club? Considering the amount of clubs already involved in football in SA is there any chance you could just join an established club? Do you realise the commitment involved? Are there enough people interested in joining the club who are willing to help out? Is there some sort of short and long term plan/goal for the club?

once these questions have been answered then I would ask what the requirements are......

Without people putting their hand up to start clubs and take on the task of developing and bettering these clubs we wouldnt have some of the great sporting clubs and as a result would not produce the players that have graced our league.

It's time for the SAASL to not accept new clubs. I know the SAASL is traditionally open to new clubs, but it's time to rethink as society has changed. New players should join an existing club to stop the racist violence that has been generated recently.

Vipers were a new club a few years ago. Look at them now. Not all new clubs are detrimental to the game.

Where in Aldinga will Aldinga be playing?
A signature has the effect of "signing off" the message indicating that no more response follows. It is common practice for a signature to contain some brief information on the author of the message, but not in this case.

The Aldinga Footy club are being very hospitable towards the idea of a soccer club sharing their ground and facilities.

Not connected to the old Aldinga. This is a new club that's starting up. I'm not going to go into the whys and the why nots on a public forum.

Best of luck...

I'm sure you know the reasons why mate. I just don't think it needs to be advertised on a public forum

The SAASL Can give you all the info.
Not sure why all the fuss, if they want to put a new team together then let it be.
If we have no intention on having any affiliation with this new club, then its none of our business.

Hazara have been kicked out so there's a vacant spot to fill.
