Australia takes on 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup semi-finalist France in the final leg of its European tour and you can see the match LIVE on SBS this Sunday 7 July.

WATCH Matildas v France: LIVE Sunday 7 July, SBS ONE and streamed online from 4:30am AEST.

The match provides Matildas coach Hesterine de Rues another chance to assess her squad, having watched her side slump to a shock 3-1 defeat to Netherlands on 30 June.

That loss was followed by a second defeat, 1-0 to Dutch club side Ado Den Haag, with the Matildas keen to finish their tour on a winning note.

The match will be hosted by David Zdrilic with former Socceroos midfielder Craig Foster, with ex-Matildas star Sarah Walsh and SBS reporter Vitor Sobral providing commentary.

4:30am sounds a little strange for a home game.
If this username offends you does Saloth Sar. At least that is the name of someone that exists.

Isnt blue text meant to be used when being sarcastic?

The answer is none, neither Waterhouse or Checker were selected.
Then again looks like the coach has gone for an experienced side.
The goalkeeper is the jewel in the crown and getting at him should be almost impossible. It's the biggest sin in football to make him do any work.

No doubt.

Popovic looked far from a MAthilda when playing for us.

Gorry you could tell had the talent at the time. Ashame we couldn't keep her.
