it's not testicular cancer.

I think it's because everyone thinks we're arseholes already.

I wonder if this is a move to stem the tide of negative media towards them of late. Can't really bag out a team with that written on the front of their kit.

There is a lot to like about Millwall on the park. They just need to straight out their perception off it.

I don't think we'll ever lose that. People just love hating us too much, any little thing is reported as WW3. Opposition will always either think we're going to eat their babies or they'll try to act all brave. Both will just add to the impression people have of Millwall.

Absolutely but I think if the club can steer away from the Charlie snorting racist and focus more on it being the down trodden working class club taking on the foreign billionaire clubs people will enjoy seeing the underdog biting at the ankles of the big boys.

There you have why it will never change in your very first sentence.

All you have is one reporter claiming the Charlie snorting. We don't have any more than any other club and since I went to my first game (27 years ago) I have never seen someone doing it as openly as was claimed.

Racist - one person (and even then I smell a rat). I've never seen anything like that ever. Yes, I've heard one off comments but never like that and the reporter with the camera happened to be right next to him.

Yet, you have believed that the Charlie snorting racists exist and are prevelant at the club.

Well no smoke without fire IMO. Maybe the club needs a better media manager who can get on top of these things early? I have to say to worse crowds I have witnessed over here so far are Chelsea fans. First time I've ever been to a game where fans of the same team are fighting but no one talks about them anymore.

I feel this is a great step in the right direction for Millwall hopefully that can afford to give their sponsorship away like this and it comes back to reward them in a season or two when the club is view more positively the community.

Media manager won't make a difference when the media are there to stitch us up. Look how you've believed the sky sports stuff. Doesn't matter how many times I've never seen anything like that at the Den, you won't believe me.

As for being able to afford to do it, from reading the accounts. This is something we really can't afford to do. It's just a PR stunt.

As I said hopefully its a bit of an investment in fixing the poor PR record you guys have and maybe season after this Millwall will be viewed differently in the community. ATM to me as someone who lives in London (not saying I understand every aspect of this great city but) Millwall as a club appears to look like the weird drunk 45 yo bloke who sits in the dark corner of the pub and everyone laughs at but no one talks to, you stick of stale smoke and most of what comes out of your mouth makes little or no sense and the last woman that spent more then 10 seconds in your company was paid to do so. In a city a image conscious as London you're not going to attract many new fans with an image like that.

it's fair to see say we're trying to order a pint of bitter in a trendy wine bar. Modern football fans wouldn't enjoy a trip to the Den.

It's a terrible situation though, we don't want them there but we want their money. :D

I feel there really is a place for Millwall as I also said a lot of fans are over the whole foreign owned EPL club and a "real british" club like Millwall is a refreshing change. Like you said you're order a real ale in a wine bar. Real ale and things that are 'British' are popular still. Just like the Queen, Pimms in the park, Sunday roast and being two faced in the work place Brits want to hold onto their history and culture and Millwall if it cleans up its image is IMO perfectly positioned to capture that. The working class of South East London need a voice in this city and Millwall can be that voice.

2 faced in the work place? sorry you're experiencing that. Have found that to be no different in either country though.

Millwall have an American chairman by the way.

The working class of SE London already mostly support us, palace have middle class sewn up and Charlton are the lovely family club.

Charlton are the club all the mums want their girls to bring home, Millwall though are the ones shagging the same birds in a dirty one night stand.

Just mainly talking about those twats on The Apprentice!

As I said I don't know the entire ins and outs of London but that's how I see it. You're perception of the SE clubs does sound right!

I reckon to shit all the Millwall off, everyone should start a campaign to like them just a little bit. They'll have to find a new slogan then.
