Nah sherminator is just jealous cos he doesn't understand what it's like being at a club that doesn't yoyo between Div1 and Div2. Going by his previous posts he has been calling for simo to be sacked for the last 3 years, obviously has a personal gripe with simo for some reason

Perhaps just something to pass the time between walking up and down Hanson Road and hiding in the bushes at the local schoollisbon lion wrote:sounds like terminator is looking for a job
After signing on as Club president following the resignation of J Walking I highly doubt that he will take on another role at a Federation club. He will be in his last year of coaching at a certain level however seniors is not it.......loving food all day wrote:hearing the same, hearing simmo has already told club this is last year, hearing he is to coach at a fed club.

He's been around for a few years but has he got the required qualifications for a federation job?Outlaw 2.0 wrote: I highly doubt that he will take on another role at a Federation club.
and also would he be able to cope with the tactical battles that you don't see in the amateurs?
3-5-2 wont cut it.
Mottram tried feds and failed, and he has to be regarded as the best amateur coach around.
Whats wrong with you?
Its either indigestion or this forum, and I hope its indigestion
Why?
Because at least I know that will get better in a little while

Re: INGLE FARM CRISIS
Its hardly a crisis losing your first 4 games by 1 goal...Obviously they are not going to win the League from here so its just a matter of staying up...
Farm are too good a side to go down & Simmo won't let happen anyway!

The return of robbo to the 35's line up has brought about back to back wins. Perhaps an injection of robbos pace is what the farmers 1st team are missing

Re: INGLE FARM CRISIS
This is from their facebook page posted in the early hours of this morning
Allright Boys and Girls we have a few items to report after tonight's committee meeting:
• Coaching - Simmo tonight offered his resignation as head coach of the club (after his 1st team lost its opening 4 games.) This was unanimously rejected by the IFASC Committee. We as a club are 100% behind Paul and do not see his management being our problem, further to that we see him as being one of the club's biggest assets.

Mottram tried feds and failed, and he has to be regarded as the best amateur coach around.
Why did Motts fail at federation level? Explain how he failed?
Is Motts the best coach in the Amateur League? Or is he coaching the best club in the Amateur League (With a budget bigger than most FFSA Clubs)?

Salisbury were relegated when he was coach yeah?
You may be able to enlighten us as to who, out of the current amateur coaches has a better record.
I may be wrong, but his record before and after his short stint at Fed level is pretty good from an outsider looking in

Re: INGLE FARM CRISIS
40+ players enjoyed (or participated) in a Tuesday training session down at The Farm. This session was run by the following coaching staff:terminator wrote:Word on the street is that the head coach is gone - can anyone confrim if this is just a rumour or correct?
Paul Simpson
Alan Leadbeater
Dean Lawrence
Ken Fowler
If the coach at question is in this list, I think you will find you are mistaken. Any questions?

Gd decision by farm committee to not accept Simmo's resignation. Still don't reckon they will get relegated. A lot can change in 14 rounds of hard work.

Obviously was happy that Fulham took the points on Sunday against Farm but what is going on at the Farm I do feel for Simmo - good bloke and trying his best.Se7en wrote:Gd decision by farm committee to not accept Simmo's resignation. Could have won the game on Sunday and this wouldn't even be talked about but that's how fickle football can be.
Im sure Farm will climb there way out of this mess and wish Simmo the best for the rest of the year (except when we play you guys again

Re: INGLE FARM CRISIS
a different challange for simo this season, but we have had slow starts before , and with the full backing of the committee and the players im sure he will stand and fight all the way untill the end, and i certainly wouldnt say they were in crisis, not the start any club would have wanted but there is a long way to go yet
Re: INGLE FARM CRISIS
the one sentence no coach wants to hear for the long term......ADEL.GOONERS wrote:a different challange for simo this season, but we have had slow starts before , and with the full backing of the committee and the players im sure he will stand and fight all the way untill the end, and i certainly wouldnt say they were in crisis, not the start any club would have wanted but there is a long way to go yet
Re: INGLE FARM CRISIS
lol... that is pretty funny! when you hear that statement the coach is usually gone a week later... I can assure you that won't be happening in this instance.bloodypassit wrote:the one sentence no coach wants to hear for the long term......ADEL.GOONERS wrote:a different challange for simo this season, but we have had slow starts before , and with the full backing of the committee and the players im sure he will stand and fight all the way untill the end, and i certainly wouldnt say they were in crisis, not the start any club would have wanted but there is a long way to go yet
Re: INGLE FARM CRISIS
The only way I think ingle farms season could be considered "in crisis" is if Simmo was to leave (either under his own steam or by committee decision). If Simmo was to be sacked at a time when players could still transfer then I'd say the club would be looking for a new coach and a few first team players as well....

Re: INGLE FARM CRISIS
Just playing devil's advocate, would it be pretty safe to assume that a committee would not accept the offer of resignation based on the fact that the season had started and there would be difficulty in finding a suitable replacement?
Re: INGLE FARM CRISIS
in a word, no, we consider Simmo in the top 2-3 coaches in the league, and i think nobody could dispute that
