Why are users turning off Facebook? Is the social networking fad coming to an end or are people getting bored of Facebook? What is next after Facebook?

There are other alternatives with less hassle regarding privacy

Twitter
Google+
tumbler

Smartphone users are more inclined to use whatsapp and Kik

Facebook is pretty useless on any platform apart from on a PC/Mac
