Evening All,
Modbury Jets Amateur Football Club would like to announce that pre-season training for the upcoming 2013 season will commence on 15th January 2013 at 18:30. Training will be conducted at Ladywood Reserve on the corner of Ladywood Road and Milne Road, Modbury. Training will continue every Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
All current and new players invited to attend. Please bring boots and trainers. Due to the likelihood of high temperatures during pre-season please keep the fluids up during the day.
We have a number of pre-season games organized which I would extend an invitation to all, both internal and external to the club, to attend for a fun Saturday afternoon out.
16 Feb 2013 - 9 Mar 13. Modbury Jets Pre-Season Cup (Modbury Jets, Northern Pitbulls, St Peters and Payneham Postel) - should be an excellent pre-season tournament for players, supporters and families, especially with Albertos Charcoal on the job. Games played each Saturday from 16 Feb with finals on 9 Mar 13.
16 Mar 13. Modbury Jets -v- Adelaide Uni
23 Mar 13. Modbury Jets -v- Para Hills East for the Rebecca Lawrence Shield. This is an important game for both clubs and pays tribute to a wonderful person who touched the lives of members of both clubs, and no better way for both clubs to pay tribute than doing what we do best - put on a great game of soccer. Will be another great day.
All games are to be held at Ladywood Reserve so if you've got a free Saturday pop down and have a geez and catch up with some old friends.
Look forward to seeing everyone at pre-season - we'll work off that Christmas pudding!
For further enquiries please contact Ben Challinor (me) on 0411732665
Take care

Yeah mate the pitch is looking a treat, shouldn't be too much of an issue on the feet in boots but trainers just in case.
