Excellent result for aek, milan dominated the game, inzaghi missed 3 chances from inside the 6 yard box,

excellent freekick from julio cezar - my new hero lol -

sorrentino saved aek like you wouldnt believe, man of the match by far, saved all 3 attempts from inzaghi

knockout stage here we come

Ironic that Sorrentino is Milan's No 1 GK target for next season.

Incorrect. Milan dominated the first half.

Milan had 1 shot on goal in the second which hit the post.
Kaka was reduced to trying to lob the keeper from 40yards.

Theres still 1 matchday to go.

Anderlecht cant move off the bottom.
Milan cant be knocked off the top.

Milan vs Lille
Anderlecht vs AEK

On the remaining matchday.

Hopefully Milan do the job at home to Lille and doesnt matter if AEK get flogged by Anderlecht.

All credit to your guys, I haven't seen any of the match but your position in the group speaks for itself, and I'd rather you make it ahead of a French side anyway.

But, seriously, a club with such a stature of AC Milan should not be losing against sides like AEK Athens etc. We are currently in the worst patch we've been in in recent years, creating heaps of chances but our strikers have been hopeless :(

Good luck vs. Anderlecht.

You were missing a lot of players though.

Cafu pulled a hamstring in the last day of training before the match and Simic broke down in the warm-up.
Costacurta started and Brocchi played right back!!

I couldnt believe Jankulouski was on the bench, he was good when he came on. Whats with Ancelotti ignoring Gilardino, who is this Borelli character and how does he get ahead of Gilardino.
Thats where Milans problems is, Olivera is crap in all honesty. I rkn Milan were in too much of a hurry to replace Sheva, and Olivera had 1 good season at Betis and Milan threw millions at him. Inzaghi could have had a hat-trick in the first half but Sorrentino played unbelievable.

Also, not that it could get much worse for Milan...Dida got injured and was substituted. Kalac finished off the game. And Costacurta came off at Half-Time, presumably injured too.

So correct me if im wrong the injuries are :: Cafu, Simic, Nesta, Kaladze, Gatusso, Ambrosini now Dida and Costacurta?
Thats the 1 keeper, the starting back 4, the 1 ball winner in midfield.

Unfortunately, I think things will get worse before they get better for Milan.
Midfielder and Striker in January + returning players and they will blitz 2nd half of year.

I agree with most of your post, however I've got to say that Ricardo Oliveira is not that bad, he's been the best of our 4 strikers so far this season anyway. Unlike Pippo/Gila/Borriello...Ricardo actually works hard and tries to create chances for others on a regular basis.

I dunno man, hes only bagged 1 goal in 16 or 17 matches and that was way back in matchday 1 vs Lazio.

When you've got Kaka and Pirlo feeding forwards you need strikers that can finish, cos another playmaker style striker is just overkill.

Siga re kop, no matter what you say Pao is the only team in Greece that has done more in Europe that any other team in Greece.
You have one outstanding win agaisnt a super club and you think your the best team in Greece? Pao have beaten more superior teams. Ajax hadnt lost a home match in 2 years and pao ended that.
