New Chelsea manager
So who do you think should be the new Chlsea manager?
Do you agree with the sacking?
Should he have got the job in the first place?

I feel like this is one of those threads with virus links and advertising, but it isn't and it bothers me.

I expected it too. But anyone that ends their posts with some sort of signature (that isn't an actual signature) makes me laugh.Litmanen wrote:BowTiesAreCool wrote:Litmanen wrote:Roman himself

Benitez issues ‘come and get me then sack me’ plea to Abramovich
Former Liverpool and Internazionale manager Rafael Benitez has urged Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich to waste no time in sacking him as the Stamford Bridge club’s next manager.
With Pep Guardiola ruling himself out of being sacked by Chelsea, Benitez believes he has all the required skills to fall well short of expectations almost immediately.
“I have the necessary experience of being sacked that Chelsea are looking for,” insisted Benítez.
“When it comes to disappointing a club’s owners, I have every confidence in my ability.”
With Chelsea’s next but one manager already under pressure to deliver, Benitez insists that Abramovich should waste no time in sacking him.
Benitez for Chelsea
“Christmas is a busy time in the English Premier League and the games come thick and fast,” he said.
“Abramovich should take steps to sack me straight away before it’s too late and the club find that they’re still in with a chance of winning trophies with only half the season played.”
“I am happy to meet with Mr Abramovich to enter into negotiations on the terms of my dismissal straight away.”
QPR boss Mark Hughes has spoken of his surprise at the sacking of Roberto Di Matteo.
“Roberto was in the job for 262 days,” he said
“I could have disappointed Mr Abramovich in less than half that time.”

Re: New Chelsea manager
Hugely overrated, especially by Liverpool fans. RDM won as much in 6 months with Chelsea as Rafa did in his entire time at Anfield.

Re: New Chelsea manager
Will the next Chelsea manager be expected to win the Champions League twice in one season?

Re: New Chelsea manager
Will be interesting to see if he can get Torres playing again. Wouldn't surprise me if the ladyboy bagged a hat trick this weekend. Might even be tempted to leave him in my dreamteam
Re: New Chelsea manager
With his accumulated long-service leave, Ferguson could take on the job at Chelsea whilst on leave, get sacked, get a huge payout and be back in time to resume the reins at United !

Re: New Chelsea manager
Seriously ! Why doesn't Abramovich just trade Chelsea in and buy a different Club ?

Re: New Chelsea manager
Abramovich is looking to become the new Jesus Gil or Maurizio Zamparini.
The score at present goes like this:
Gil 39
Zamparini 25
Abramovich 7 (Hiddink resigned)

Re: New Chelsea manager
Kokkalis - Olympiakos, 1993-2011 - 29 managers. Or 1 and a quarter a season.
Bearing in mind between 1993 to 2011 that they won 13 of 18 titles including 7 in a row and 5 in a row.

Re: New Chelsea manager
Not sure if it is true but apparently Eva Carneiro has left chelsea. It is a sad day for the epl if that's true.

Chelsea have appointed former Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez as interim manager until the end of the season.
