Ffsa rules unsure???
What are the rules and consequences if a JPL team plays a game with 16 players on the team sheet yet have 17 players in total, and one of those players plays the game and his name is not on the team sheet?
Is the matter worth pursuing if the guilty club denies it?
Should video of the game be handed to the appropriate people?
The rules seem very vague.

Some people tell me that we professional players are soccer slaves. Well, if this is slavery, give me a life sentence.

Yes we would sign a stat dec but would the other team. Also whether its the end of the season or not please give me an answer
Re: Ffsa rules unsure???
you could simply read the rules, but this may help,
rule 37-
(2) A Club shall not play in any match a player who is not named on the team sheet for match.
Penalty – The team will forfeit the game and will be issued with a Level 2 fine.

Is this drama linked to the under 15A game between ABE and Croydon about 3 weeks ago?

Re: Ffsa rules unsure???
I didn't do a head count, but I did see both clubs carry out a card check before the game and the game starting on time, you would think that everything would have been sorted out by then.
Anyway, for the record, it was a cracking game by the 2 best teams in the league who both had their chances to get a result, Croydon had the best one with a penalty 10 minutes from the end but unfortunately they missed it and ABE held on for the point they needed.
I wonder if we would be having this conversation if the penalty had been converted and Croydon would have won the sheep station the 2 clubs were playing for!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Whatever happens with the investigation and whoever gets awarded the sheep station, the players of both teams know that they are in for some great games when they play each other in the years to come and we as spectators will witness some good football, which in the end is what matters.

That's not relevant. The question is did a non-listed player play?hemishovel wrote:Did all the 17 players play on the day ?
Re: Ffsa rules unsure???
Why go to all the trouble of doing a card check?
How was the non listed player able to take the field?
Did they hide him somewhere till the game started and brought him on when no one was looking?
I thought if there was an issue during a card check it would be sorted out by the time of kick off.

Was there ?and is there proof. As a card check was done on the main pitch by both teams before kick off.By the way it was a great game between both teams.Hawkesy's Chauffeur wrote:That's not relevant. Re: Ffsa rules unsure???
Card check was noted for 17 players. Was mentioned to referee. But only 16 on team sheet and the 17 player played on the pitch and was not on team sheet. I'm not naming player or number but there is video evidence !!!

And isn't it funny that both your references are related to your squeaky clean sportmanship club being not so clean.

Re: Ffsa rules unsure???
So if all the rocket scientists at Croydon knew that there was an issue with a certain player why not stop that player from taking the field or were they so confident that they would win it didn't matter, even missing penalties!!!!!!! (Maybe the Croydon #7 that missed penalty was ABE 17th player!!!!!!)
If there is video evidence of this, why has it taken close to a month to produce it?
Every one knows who won the title, and by the start of next season no body but the players involved will care.
Regarding the "REPUTATION", "SPORTSMANSHIP" and so called "PLAYER DEVELOPMENT" of Croydon, well thats another discussion, that I have no interest in!!!!!!

Over to you Croydon. Does your "PLAYER DEVELOPEMENT" come before Championships ?
