see the red bit in bold. whilst it does not mention precise fees, they seem to be aware of high fees and sound like they are trying to make it more affordable for families.

Fair enough, but I'm sure that most clubs are doing the same; no one wants to increase fees unnecessarily.

I only ask because the claim is made to sound like it is the cheapest around, which is possible but without facts it just words. It's only fair to show the consumers the full cost and what is included.

The Western Toros are waiving all registration Junior Fees. It will be FREE of charge to play at the Toros for all Junior Girls and Boys selected at trials. The only cost will be the purchase of your playing strips, shorts and socks. The Western Toros are also currently working with our strip supplier to help us out with the strips but is this is yet to be confirmed. This is a huge savings for parents and a bold move the club is making to help the local community and Junior Soccer.

It is about time that someone has put up some positive news up on this forum rather than the usual bickering and negativity. Well done Toros and best of Luck for the future!

It's good to see club administration introduce changes that decrease the cost of the game, and great that there are enough volunteers to help keep costs down. Well done Toros. All the best for Season 2013.

Yes, so true. Would also be good if forum users could stick to one user account.

I know some clubs putting up fees by 10-15% in 2013.
This is a brilliant initiative from Toros, who are a club that will go from strength to strength, especially attracting the new migrants in SA.
Well done Toros !

the government gave funding to cover for the fees of refugee players, this is why no fees were charged,
funding from the government will now be cut down and clubs will hardly be getting anything, how will toros and other clubs in the same situation able to not charge fees???
