Congratulations - its much easier to win titles in the Sat League isn't it?

1 in the Sun League and with the team you had in that era you probably thought you would have won a few more but a lot harder than the Sat League.

Im sure you will win many more Sat as there are only 2 or 3 teams u compete against.

why would you turn a complimentary thread on a very good accomplishment into a negative 'Sunday is a better competition' thread???

Its also disrepectful to all those Saturday league teams that compete against Adelaide Villa.

I am not associated with any Sat or Sun teams at the moment but was back then and just making an observation.

Like I said congrats and I am sure u will win many more in the Sat League.

I was surprised to see you get knocked out by Munno Para in the early rounds of the cup as well but you ended up Sat Champions.

Bit harsh. The Villa boys have won 3 out of 4 championships and only missed out last year by one single goal. To stay up the top for that long in any competition is impressive.

Well Done Villa again.

Cheers, it was even more sweeter considering many people knocked us around and said that Dom Musci couldnt win a title.
Well he shut them up and did a fantastic job!

Your an absolute twat buddy, there always has to be one idiot. Im not going to turn this thread in to a Sunday VS Saturday competition, but having played in both I can honestly say that Sunday is alot more physical but thats not to say the competition is better.

In relation to your ridiculous comment about the loss against Munno Purra, I was at the game and saw it, and there was only 3 first team players and the others were all reserves and this was because the game was played on mothers day and most of the first team players had commitments.

If you think Adelaide Villa or the Sat league is no good why dont you go out to one of thier trainings one night and see how long you last.

This is an excellent achievement for everyone involved in the club.

Great Work boys!!!!!!!!

Talking of twats.......

From this it would be safe to assume that Sunday teams don't love their mums?

congratulations to Villa, i have played too many years in Sunday Div1 and seen many championship winning teams, but the year Villa won it (2005 or 6? swanny help me here) they were by far the best ball playing team that i had seen in many years, full of great players, most ex Fed,they were deserving winners back then. they then switched to Saturday and from there they have obviously dominated. well done guys, you can only beat those teams in your league and you have certainly done that. is that B Gale in the photo? played with him 200 years ago and he looks fitter and younger now, he is a true football legend! be proud guys well done to all involved!
