Fulham
Adelaide City
Metro United
Cumberland
Adelaide Olympic
Sturt Marion
Gawler
Campbelltown
Para Hills
Elizabeth Vale

(10 teams)

SAD SAD SAD

The Vale and Gawler in the same comp. What will the game be like when they play against each other?

Para Hills averted the "steadfast and strict rule" of relegation and promotion" How did this one work? Weren't they expected to be dropped?

Sad Girl,

In all the years you have been playing for SAWSA do you know of any teams that have been relegated.

SAWSA have kindly let Para Hills stay up because how can you be a force in Premier league after 1 year in the comp. The gap between State League and Premier league is so big.
We assume now tho if we are still bottom next year then yes we will probably get relegated as it is now a 10 team Competition.

Just on a different note tho. Para Hills are looking for an experienced Goalie for 2007 for our Premier league team.

Mrs T. How many have been relegated ? Many for various reasons ie.Elizabeth Downs/City, Elizabeth Vale, Stirling, Adelaide Uni, for results. Noarlunga Lions for other reasons. At one stage the 2 Elizabeth teams were in Premiers together. I will stand corrected, but Adelaide City, Fulham, Cumberland I think have come a long way in 10 to 15 years. Unfortunately Archives on SAWSA do not go back that far. I am not sure where many forumites were all that time ago. Might catch up with Tony Downes former Noarlunga Lions Secretary, who was around some 15 years ago. I can recall in 1998., The Premier League was the 2 Elizabeth teams, Stirling Districts, Metro Stars, Sturt Marion, Adelaide City, Adelaide Olympic, Noarlunga Lions , Modbury??? I do not think Cumberland or Fulham were in Prems at that time, but once again I will stand corrected. :) :)

Fulham weren't. 2000 was Fulham United's first season in Premier League. I can only remember Adelaide Uni being relegated of late, cant remember the Elizabeth teams being relegated....just thought that was due to not being able to field the required amount of teams

Well they certainly would be able to afford the very best now that the boys aren't there to take all their money!
Which explains why Lardo was seen having lunch with Sven Goran at the Rocks yesterday I suppose.

No they haven't,
The girls just shafted them. Why else would they try and take their name?
Certainly they don't need their security blanket any longer.......or is that their meal ticket with sponsors :?

This was my quote from an earlier topic in the women's forum. I reckon I'm on the money.

Waste of talent if SA doesn't tap into this reource. Don't want to read about past indiscretions. The only difference between AS and other "people" is that he was caught and was made an example of. RIGHT?
