How can I become a kids soccer coach?

Hello friends,

I'm in college, and I graduate next year as an English Teacher. I'm kind of interested in spending my Saturday morning's coaching kids' soccer, but I have NO idea where to get started. Who do I contact? Do I need certain qualifications? Any advice you can give me would be great.
