BLUE EAGLES v PHW - 2ND HALF REPORT BY BLUE EAGLES
The second half started a lot better with the ball predominantly in our attacking half with Chris Carlin nearly scoring with his head from a corner kick. After dominating, but with no goal, super sub Lagati (on return from injury), scored a composed goal after some good fighting play from Danny (Irish) O'Grady. The game remained tense to say the least for the rest of the game, until late into injury time when PHW equalised from a corner after Blue Eagles GK - Mark Paolini was clearly fouled off the ball. In a more astonishing move, the referee blew the full time whistle just before Blue Eagles striker Milad Sultani was about to have a scoring opportunity!

The keeper being fouled is up to the refferees descretion of the laws, but your goal was pure unsportsman ship...

What sort of ref blows his whistle when a player is about to have a scoring opportunity ....should be next goal winsgetyourheaddown wrote:The second half started a lot better with the ball predominantly in our attacking half with Chris Carlin nearly scoring with his head from a corner kick. the report also highlights how pathetic a club blue eagles is that it can't acknowledge that the goal was a result of a misunderstanding

Brazil questioned the call for all of 20 seconds. They then swapped shirts with the opposition.predator wrote:+1Woohafkaf Car wrote:It shouldn't matter where is the ball. Time is time.Big Mac wrote:[What sort of ref blows his whistle when a player is about to have a scoring opportunity

Nowadays we'd have all hell break loose if something like that happened, and that would be in a who gives a fuck amateur game.
What has happened to us as a society in the last 40 years?
