Re: Origin Night :)
Farrah never played at the ball. At most penalty try. Also Inglis knocked it forward into Farrahs foot

Ricky Stewart disagrees.guess_who wrote:Farrah never played at the ball. At most penalty try. Also Inglis knocked it forward into Farrahs foot
Time for some righteous indignation
Re: Origin Night :)
How can you say he didn't play at the ball?????guess_who wrote:Farrah never played at the ball. At most penalty try. Also Inglis knocked it forward into Farrahs foot
Definitely played at the ball with his foot which is against the laws of the game.
After he kicked it out of his hands the ball is live and GI is well within his right to put downward pressure on the ball for a TRY.
Feckn whinging NSW....Worse than the Poms.

Re: Origin Night :)
Boo a Blue.....I have seen Haynes drop ball given a knock on in regular season games....Also
how can you say Brett Stewart got the ball down for the first try....If they gave benefit of the doubt I would understand
but calling it a try straight up.....farrrkkken Refs have been got to by the ARL.

As a neutral I didn't think either were even debatable. The "penalty try" however.

Of course not, you don't understand the rules.....God is an Englishman wrote:Steve#6 wrote:Boo a Blue.....I have seen Haynes drop ball given a knock on in regular season games....Also

What penalty try???? there was doubt he would have scored because there was a defender near the ball...Professional foul no doubt, 10 in the bin but penalty try???????....Please....

Re: Origin Night :)
I'm not convinced slater would have got there. He only just made while the bloke was being held.
Re: Origin Night :)
Slater is the best Full Back in the world, his positioning is unquestioned....I have no doubt who would have got there first.

He's no Jason Robinson
Re: Origin Night :)
He was only a winger in the real game...God is an Englishman wrote:Steve#6 wrote:Slater is the best Full Back in the world, his positioning is unquestioned....I have no doubt who would have got there first.

He played full back (as well) in the real rugby. My favourite player across both codes.Steve#6 wrote:He was only a winger in the real game...God is an Englishman wrote:Steve#6 wrote:Slater is the best Full Back in the world, his positioning is unquestioned....I have no doubt who would have got there first.

Only saw him play internationals against the Roos and that was Wing (left if I recall)....Was a good player no doubt.

would have been wing against the 'roos, but full back/wing against the 'bies.

The decider this Wednesday, can't wait....
Because of Dry July it will me my first Origin match without a beer in my hand, will be
an interesting experience not having to re-watch the last 20 of the 2nd half to remember what happened.
