No ...he is the masseur !
Just like against Barca, he was only trying to get business by kneeing the Barca boy!

That was the quickest John Terry has got his kit on since Wayne Bridge came home early one time.

Apparently, he didn't sleep with Bridge's ex after all, someone else did and he just took the creditStatto11 wrote:That was the quickest John Terry has got his kit on since Wayne Bridge came home early one time.

Yeah Robson went up with Bruce, bit different though, they don't have a final for the premier league title. It was his final season and after being club captain for so long it was pretty fitting that he lifted the trophy with Bruce.God is an Englishman wrote:Dear Man u fans: Who collected the premiership trophy in 1993?
I know what you're getting at though. But you can't deny that Terry's embarrassed himself with all that carry on?
Roy Keane and Paul Scholes had it right in 99.

One was the champions league, the other was the premier league. What's the difference?
How long has Terry been club captain?
Re: Modest John Terry's Photo Album
In the history of football, how many club captains have you seen lift the trophy after not playing any part in the actual final? I'll say again, the premier league doesn't have a final of any kind.
If you think Terry was right to go up and do that, fair enough. I think he made a fool of himself. I can't remember it ever happening before.

but it's a league now, not a fully fledged cup. How many minutes did paisley play in the league cup final of 83?
You say he made a fool of himself? I'm pretty sure he wouldn't have done it without full backing of his team mates.

i know you're probably trying to wind up the forum GIAE and im not technically biting...i dont disagree with the idea of terry going up and collecting the trophy i think that is fine and he probably did deserve to go on the podium and celebrate with his team, i dont agree with him wearing the full kit and shinpads to act like he played though i think that went over the top and made him look like a fool

I agree with that as well. However, according to a source it was uefa who told him he had to be in full kit so as to not muck up the official photographs.
Re: Modest John Terry's Photo Album
What a joke that is from terry
how does he have the nerve to do that after a deliberate tackle against barca
at the end of the day when his grandchildren see the footage and ask how he played, he will say i didnt play yet still have a medal haha
barca let abidal lift the trophy in 2011, he came on with 10 mins left(if i remember) and was given the armband and lifted the trophy. i see nothing wrong with that as he was playing
i was actually surprised uefa let terry on stage as he was banned
if he wants to know what class is then have a look at these 2 blokes

Re: Modest John Terry's Photo Album
do they ban people for deliberate tackles these days, you must see a lot of goals scored if you're not allowed to deliberately tackle. How do you rely on your defenders accidentally tackling someone?Le King wrote:how does he have the nerve to do that after a deliberate tackle against barca
Re: Modest John Terry's Photo Album
ban/suspended, normally what happens when you get a red card for such a dirty challenge, especially behind playGod is an Englishman wrote:do they ban people for deliberate tackles these days, you must see a lot of goals scored if you're not allowed to deliberately tackle. you said he was banned for a deliberate tackle though. Can't wait for my next game now I hear defenders get sent off for tackling.

I must be very slow because I never realised you could be sent off for deliberately tackling someone.
