Maybe, Just Maybe Just Maybe a big name coach now back in Adelaide will want to make his was back into women's soccer??? After all he knows the women's game very very very well.

Thoughts? Would be a HUGE asset for one of our local women's PL team. ;)

Why isn't this palatable? from a soccer point of view he has definitley put the Matildas on the map as a force in international women's soccer. Agreed?

From a playing/professional perspective yes. Better the devil you know than the one in sheep's clothing.

When would say he has paid his dues?

As my initial comments stated, he would be an asset to the game. If Farina were to relocate to Adelaide, would we not consider him to mentor our young "up and comers?" Of course you would.

We haven't considered/discussed his professional ability??? Gubs touched on (via hearsay) however, the comment was "is he an asset?"

I don't think that he's on an island with this one.

At what point do incidents ie realtionships or inappropriate behaviour become an issue that prevents someone from doing their professional duties or pursuing a role in the game they have a passion for?

I am aware that at the level he was coaching at this is an issue however if he is to coach at local level I don't see it as a problem.
p.s I don't know him personally and have no buy in with this person.

Agreed, he was a coach not a school teacher, that would be wrong.

I really do think you should not be mentioning names on this forum. Something may have happened but let people get on with their lives.

Beaches I agree. However, you will note that my commentary was in relation to coaching and utilising a resource for teh betterment of our game. Others have taken the discussion down the "other" path.
