what was said about nicholls?

an asian/australian majority squad was always on the cards, pretty sure sarota and schwazer only players from europe?

would say mckay left out to sort out his future

Nothing directly, just mentioned some young players need to stop reading their own press.

I suppose Nichols falls under that umbrella.

This year apart from flashes of brilliance he has been pretty ordinary, this is where Holger is coming from.

Nichols had the chance to step up while Broich was injured but let that chance pass by.

He'll get there, has the talent just needs the effort.

Shouldn't be any such thing when you wear your country's shirt. Very ordinary performance lacking heart so far. Prett embarrassing for Australian football.

when the A-team get outplayed and struggle to beat Thailand then you've gotta expect a B-team to have trouble with Saudi Arabia

cant believe people are surprised by this

Need to get Milligan off and someone else on who can play in a defensive midfield role to properly screen the defence and put pressure on the man with the ball.

Not bad for the C team three goals in five minutes. Aus 4 Saudi 2.

great 2nd half, really turned it on and showed what they are capable of.

I thought Bresh had an ordinary first half, but was b.o.g. in the second half. And Brosque, well without being an international superstar he seems to be fitting in very well in the squad and is a great alternative should Kennedy not play or Holger decides to play less direct.

have aaaaaaaaaaaalways said we look better with bresh in the team

great to see him back

brosque looks dangerous too

almost seems like we have more depth up front than in midfield and defence

was the opposite a couple of years ago

was more a case of Saudis capitulating and awful defending than the socceroos playing better
those guys should be drug tested

some of the worst defending i've seen by professional footballers
