Tony Barbaro got a couple - 1 absolutely cracker mind you.

1 own goal and I think Dean got the other.

Dean also scored in the b team - think he got 2.

Nick the keeper in the A team got 1 - couple of late withdrawals in the b team so Nick played a full game in the b team on the field then went in goals for the A team.

Dean also played half a game in the b team and then a full game in the A team.

Didn't affect there performances and the extra work would be gd for there fitness levels.

Matt is a top striker and would have been a good fit for FUSC this year. His attack on the ball is animal like also. Although at times he did get carried away and is prone to the odd red card ie v Inter couple years back with a brutal headbutt, and also for some outlandish tackling. Lucky the FUSC disciplinary watchdogs were on to him and recovered the fine monies owed post haste

bigpond - heard that you were part of an evergreen backline on the weekend with an avg age of 38

although apparently you got caught out for TTGs goal when you were not obeying the orders of the libero to push up and play the offside trap

my sources also tell me that a Prince William look-a-like was playing up front for the FUSC first team

If you call the linesman putting his flag up when the guy was 3 yards off side but the ref waved play on when he was in the middle of the park getting caught out then so be it.

Fulhams back line in the ressies is like a fine wine - gets better with age.

Once I teach the il libero to play the easy option instead of dribbling and twisting a half a dozen times 1st though, things will be so much easier..it will come though cos if it doesnt there could be some very animated scenes at Fulham this year if the il libero plays a few games in tandem with bigpond

C team has not played this year so can't comment.

Last year we did win the championship in Div 8 and in the 1 off game the B and C team had (with a ref as well) the C team did win 5-4 so we had the bragging rights.

It was 11 v 11 with a ref and subs - and the b team had a regular A team player playing cos he was suspended that week so don't tell me they didn't take it seriously.

That win was the stepping stone to the championship and Ga Pala and me will talk about that game for a long time.

It was sweet :D

Could be but anything less than a championship in the C Team and it would be a backward step from last year.

Matt is definitely a tough customer that wears his heart on his sleave.

Maybe he should come back to Uni to break his injury curse! Would be more than welcome back.

Not like that lebanese boy that used to start all that trouble up at Mobwee.

I remember that dude with his pink porsche Black Brian. And his outlandish sideways shuffle moves on the dancefloor

And Bigpond I think you'll have to have a word to that self appointed president down there. I thought he was the vice president then all of a sudden when the limelight shines he is talking to the media and making a grab for power
