Saturday Trial Games/Results

Post by Steve#4 »

For those with little interest in sorting through the Sunday Bickering.

Vipers 35's were hosted by Titans C's at B27 and had a good hit out winning comfortably (can't remember the score).

Titans had 2 internal trials as well, they are not struggling for numbers this season.

Thanks for the game fellas, stinking hot but a good hit out to blow away the cob webs.

This Saturday, February 25, OISC is hosting this year’s Old Scholars Cup, with a round robin competition against Old Xavierians (Melb) and Riverview College (Syd).

The first match, between OISC and OXSC, kicks off at 2pm, at the Senior College. Each match will be 45 minutes in length. 3pm sees Xavierians play Riverview, and 4pm has OISC clashing against Riverview.

Well ignoring the heat the Viper boys got out and had an internal this morning.

Considering the heat there was a great turnout, good enough for us old fellas to be able to sit out and
add to the clubs coffers from beer purchases.

Vipers Under 12's, C's, B's and A's having a hitout against Stingrays this Saturday at B27.

Weather should be a lot kinder than last weekend :D

Well done Iggies.

Do you know what league these guys play in? We (Adelaide Uni) have often raised the idea of playing Melbourne Uni over there as an end of season trip and it would be good to know what the standard is like.

Westies are a godsend this time of year for sides that share with cricket.

Kudos to them.

Thanks Stingrays for the hit out, a good bunch.

Under 12's started the day with a good win and it continued through the C's, B's and A's....

Thanks Westies once again for accommodating us.

B's & C's game both very close, I think it was 1-1 with only about 5 to go. A's (I left at half time) but seemed like one way traffic with one bloke for downs seeming to score every time he got near the ball.
