good on AC, Cobras and a few other clubs gtting info out on their websites.
Nothing past 2011 from most clubs.
Poor considering league drafts are out, trials are supposedly organised, etc.
Communication - the clubs are worse at it than FFSA.

I'm sure parents and kids of their respective clubs would know. Otherwise I wasnt aware that multitudes of junior football spectators were lining up anxiously to watch kids play trial games.

I seen many parents fly past me this past Sunday down at the Strikers, the wind was terrible.

And comms continue to be poor - old habits for most clubs - lacks application and professionalism.

Yeah right, neutrals and non-parents are always lining up at the turnstiles to watch little Johnny play. If you want to call Adelaide City "professional", go and see how they treat the public at their senior games. Extremely UN-professional! Yet you are banging on about a few kids trial games. Ask a parent or junior co-ordinator or team manager if you want to see a particular game. Meanwhile, just to please you, I will organize a billboard along South Road somewhere......

So why is a trial game different to a league game?
Are you suggesting that games played for points are more important?
Are you suggesting that kids play these games at a different desire level than a league game and their efforts are not important?
Seems a bit silly when all one asked was how are teams shaping up for 2012.

No, muts started throwing crap at clubs for not being "more professional" in putting kids trial games on the website. How does that tell anyone how teams are shaping up for 2012?AL K HOLIC wrote: We constantly hear, it's not about leagues, it's not about points and it's about fun and development.

suggesting the ref was a 12th man? seems 2012 will be no different and many games will be determined by home refs, shame but reality. Apology for score both games were grape vines, Toros may have been 1-5 also, lol.Coach_Mulatinho wrote:AL K HOLIC wrote:I have heard of some trials getting underway;

Re: pre season junior trial games
the ref even threatned one comets kid with red card coz the kid asked to be fair!!!!! .... gave two penalties to home team, one wasnt.
i found it very funny, coz these dads dont even have moral and principles to teach their own kids. well their behaviou its worst than some players

Re: pre season junior trial games
One time when I was walking through B27, I stopped to watch 10 or 15 minutes of a game there, must have been U/11's or U/12's, think they were playing against Cumberland. I kid you not, a Westies defender literally caught the ball on the goal-line, everyone with the obvious screams for penalty - you guessed it - waved play on with the ref gesturing like he couldnt see it - the kid even held his head in his hands immediately after knowing he did wrong - it didnt matter. Was funny watching the parents go ape but I did sympathise with them.Coach_Mulatinho wrote:the ref even threatned one comets kid with red card coz the kid asked to be fair!!!!! .... gave two penalties to home team, one wasnt.

Thing is, you almost expect the 50/50's to go the way of the home team, but seriously, when its blatant 100%, then you have to wonder - especially when its kids involved.

To be fair a similar thing happened last year in a Women's World Cup game.Bomber wrote:One time when I was walking through B27, I stopped to watch 10 or 15 minutes of a game there, must have been U/11's or U/12's, think they were playing against Cumberland. Juniors are the future of the game, why shouldn't we expect our clubs to promote them more?

Some history here ??? :?
All I can say is glass houses big fella glass houses.

back on topic,,,, surely of all games the pre-season trials are significant enough to get people motivated for the up coming season by advertising them as much as possible ??????
I see on your own websites that your junior stuff is sufficiently motivating....

I also see some interesting items in one junior calendar that has been discussed and proffered by other parties outside the club too.....

Keep up the good work, but please try and keep the prejudice to minimum??
Particularly in a junior forum as kids read these pages.
Like the recent alcohol commercial ... "hey.... go get your old man another beer".
Kids pick up their attitudes from their parents....
Hate breeds hate, something your cultures are truly and fully aware of.
Good luck to all teams for 2012...

I dont know why YOU have brought up alcohol for, I went to get a coffee in their bar/kitchenParanoia is a thought process believed to be heavily influenced by anxiety or fear, often to the point of irrationality and delusion. Paranoid thinking typically includes persecutory beliefs, or beliefs of conspiracy concerning a perceived threat towards oneself. Making false accusations and the general distrust of others also frequently accompany paranoia
And the only reason we brought up the 'senior' side of AC was to show that some clubs are not as 'professional' as others think they might be, hence our AC bar/kitchen example ........ but all volunteers at all clubs try to do the best they can, NONE of us are professional, but we do try to improve and do things better then they were done in the past .....
Some clubs have a good website, some have a good changeroom, some have better facilities, some have Nike or Adidas kits, some have homebrand kits, some have 300 kids, some have 50, some have good coaches, some have athletics coaches, some have proper goals/marked pitches for SSF, some still use poles/cones ....... etc ....
Sorry for going off topic Sir, I will try not in future so you dont have any reason to 'twist' what was actually trying to be said ......
