Amateur league
Doing preseason, having club launch feb 25th and having a ball.
This amateur league is real good family attsmophere and a ball of fun.
Hope all clubs are doing the same.

Re: Amateur league
Thanks hay immanuel os soccer club. I have done my asian c licence this year and was going to have an easy year off.
I had a premier league side to coach if i wanted but decided to give amateurs a go and keep up with the game.
I have been pleasantly surpised by the standard and good nature of the league so far.
As i said its been very enjoyable.
As for mr franco when your ready and up and running love to give you a friendly to see how good you really are.

You can labour the same, boring, repetitive point for as long as you want but its getting beyond boring....
Keep posting Leo, the forum gestapo can only stop you by boring us to death......"Its my amateur league and youre not allowed to play with it"!!

Re: Amateur league
he plays in the collegiate league, yet says he's enjoying the amateur league. If he'd put collegiate league in the title then I would have known not to open it.Dash Riprock wrote:You can labour the same, boring, repetitive point for as long as you want but its getting beyond boring....

Re: Amateur league
Fill me in God is there friction between the leagues as you said i am new to the league and as i see it both leagues right or wrong are amatuer leagues. i do think though in my opinion that they should get together or amalgamate as one and become even stronger and more teams. amatuer or collegiate (same same but different). Been there have you it would make the world of difference for you.

Correct, the vital element being the letter S. They are amateur leagues but there is only one amateur league.

Re: Amateur league
It would make sense for them to amalgamate but don't think it will ever happen. To start with, what divisions would they merge into. half collegiate/half amateur?? In the initial stages it would weaken the league whilst positions are ironed out (which would take 3/4 years to settle down).leo64 wrote:Fill me in God is there friction between the leagues as you said i am new to the league and as i see it both leagues right or wrong are amatuer leagues. i do think though in my opinion that they should get together or amalgamate as one and become even stronger and more teams. amatuer or collegiate (same same but different). As for friction, I doubt any of the players give a shit. I know I don't. I have played both leagues and it really doesn't bother me.

Rubbish. The Collegiate League is an amateur league.God is an Englishman wrote:Wayne Rooney's Elbow wrote:They are both amateur leagues.God is A Norwegian wrote: he plays in the collegiate league, yet says he's enjoying the amateur league. DOF ain't a bad idea in my book. I've been calling for it at the Jets for a while. Now, we've got one.God is an Englishman wrote:leo64 wrote:No midget down there mate im about 5 ft 11 tall enough. so does that mean midgets cant coach. theres one thats a director of football here

I thought we had a coaching co-ordinator, not a director of football.

If we do have one then I think it's ridiculous, I didn't realise we did though.
