EVSC hosts Playford Cup

The Elizabeth Vale Soccer Club will be hosting the Playford Cup during February.

Please see the fixture list below for game dates and times.

Fantastic! Look forward to another pre season feast of fine football and the Vale's excellent hospitality - I am sure it will be a success and alot of fun with the 4 proud clubs involved. Good luck to all involved.

Looks great.

What times are the games? Same as in previous years?
Am looking forward to it.

Make sure someone is onto the Mayor for his normal Sponsorship of the comp for the Prize money.
I think my drinking club has a soccer problem.....

and yes I am speaking with the Mayor and he will be making an appearance during the finals. I am hoping to get him on board to present the trophy or toss the coin in the final.

It didn't have them on there before. It was edited as I wondered what times they were on also.

If you read the blue text in EVSC's post that says its been edited, for those who can't read :wink:

Good luck to Angle Vale who are going into this comp as the only side not in the Premier Div.

That's a very good point. The boys really put in and in some games results are not the best but they continue to show up and give everything they have.

Some good players out in the boondocks, will be good to watch a couple of my ex team mates against some of the best players in the Amatuer league.

A welcome club always great bunch of fellas who get on with and don't piss and moan about the toughness or the game but use it for good experience to develop their players and learn from the games. An fine example to many.

no stam can have a run in our ressies or c grade, any good competion for spots is always good. So stop trying to create something that isnt you mollusc. Maybe if you payed them properly you wouldnt have all this rumour and inuendo.
Anyway back to the original thread, all the best to the vale for putting this on and heres to a ripper of a tournament. Good way to get the clubs coffers started for the season ahead. All we ask is plenty of cold beer. Are they going to consider playingon the fenced of pitch? as there may be a lot more shade to go round rather than the main pitch...
