Fulham Utd - Places for U14 & u15 boys
Fulham Utd still currently have places for boys in the u14 and u15 teams.
The teams play in the JSL and both won their divisions last season. A few of the boys in each team have moved on to JPL division A clubs and we wish them all the best, they will always be welcome back, but it does mean we would like to recruit some new players to fill the squad for the upcoming season.
Fulham junior boys only joined the FFSA 4 years ago with 3 teams and about 40 boys. This season we will 19 teams and over 200 boys. For the first time we will also have a junior coaching coordinator this year. Fulham thrives on being a well run community club and I believe the pitches are amongst the best in the league.

Re: Fulham Utd - Places for U14 & u15 boys
i know western strikers were looking at a third u14 team but only had 7 or 9 players so should be some boys there . i dont think you can make a team with that number. good luck
Re: Fulham Utd - Places for U14 & u15 boys
Thanks Leo64.
I don't think we can accommodate that many, even across u14 and u15, but if someone from Western Strikers wants to contact me then I'd be happy to discuss a possible solution with them.

from what I heard the Strikers has completed their third 14s, some were going to be guided to Toros as they have a few spots, however the Strikers decided to not send players away and field a third team but I may be wrong, maybe they lost a few and now only have 9ish as explained

Re: Fulham Utd - Places for U14 & u15 boys
Thanks for the good wishes.
We have enough u14's to make a team already, just need a couple more to make a full squad. We also have 2 large u13 squads that could help out if we were short for a particular game, so no real worries there.
The 15's are more of a concern, as although we are close to having enough for a team, due to the short supply of u14's we don't have the back up if the u15's are missing a couple of players for illness, holidays etc.
It's a shame as they are a wonderful bunch of boys who enjoyed success playing attractive, positive football and it's difficult to understand why we cannot fill the squad.
We will persevere and hopefully when the schools go back and pre season starts in ernest, interest will pick up again and we will fill the squad before the season proper starts.

I find it a crying shame that Fulham and their like are unable to enter junior teams in the JPL, as from what I saw of the U/14's last season they really were in a 'different league' to the other teams in the JSL league(no I'm not connected to Fulham in anyway!).
You can't blame the players moving on to test themselves at a higher level BUT they really should have that opportunity with Fulham.

Correct Bomber, join the FFSA
The Fulham women are in the FFSA, the 200 kids are in the FFSA but missing opportunities to play in an appropriate level and the amatuers are 3rd bottom in their league. So a bunch of 30 odd players are holding back a club of 300
Come on in, you'd be a welcomed addition.

They should be a class above the rest, reason being they are playing against players 15-30 of all other clubs, while Fulhams players are 1-15.

No need to at the moment.Bomber wrote:Easy done. Players that leave will always be replaced by other players.
If the entry conditions into the State League become a bit more relaxed Fulham will never say never.
The facilities are in place, the club is in the best shape it has ever been with heaps of juniors and some great sponsors this season so the decision is if we want to join not that we have to join.

The 15's are more of a dilemma, as although we are near to having enough for a group, due to the shorter provide of u14's we don't have the again up if the u15's are losing a number of gamers for sickness, vacations etc.
