that's how many tickets those cunts at west ham have given Millwall.
Then the police will complain that there is trouble because loads of Millwall were there without tickets. THEY HAVEN'T GOT A FUCKING CLUE!!
Wouldn't the old bill rather have the Millwall fans in the ground where they know where they are and can control the situation that pockets of fans interspersed all over the place.
If they stick with that amount, it will go off and guess who will get the blame.

Re: 1,436
1,436 will be legally allowed in to the Millwall end. Many more will get in somehow whether that be interspersed with home fans or in the Millwall end. Those that can't get in will be outside where the police will have a harder job to control them.marado wrote:God is an Englishman wrote:Litmanen wrote:Maybe that's the amount of prison cells they have left?
a lot more than 1,436 Millwall will be at this game.

So what are you complaining about then?God is an Englishman wrote:El Pibe D'Oro wrote:What is the minimum allocation a home club has to give an away club?
League games - ZERO I THINK!!
They are getting 1436 more than they should in the first place.

when i did the old trafford tour a couple weeks ago they said the minimum allocation for away fans is 5 percent at old trafford the fa lets them give slightly less which is 3000 because of the size of the stadium. so west hams stadium is 35000 they should be giving 1750 if what that guy said is trueGod is an Englishman wrote:El Pibe D'Oro wrote:What is the minimum allocation a home club has to give an away club?

Hawkesy i was going to start a new topic but i cbf just wanted to show you this and get your thoughts...any truth or bit of an over reaction?
How Is Millwall's Racism Allowed?
Good Morning F365, I know this is off your radar but it has to be addressed. It just has to be.
How are Millwall allowed to carry on doing what they do without being punished by the Football League? Everyone knows their reputation, exacerbated by films such as Green Street that glorify the violence that is dished out by their heinous subhuman support. On Saturday, this feral, caveman like behaviour was witnessed first hand by the travelling support of Birmingham.
At a time when racism in football is a hot topic, how are Millwall fans able to escape punishment for dishing out racist abuse to opposition players and fans? I'm assuming this isn't saved especially for when they play us so it must be fairly regular. The usual chant of 'Town full of P***s' was aimed at our support and a fair dose of racial abuse was aimed at Marlon King.
This escalated once we had taken the lead and given them a rendition of '1-0 to the Pakistan'. Not content with racial abuse, the Millwall fans rained down bottles and coins on our players when taking throw-ins to the point that several thought the game would be abandoned.
This is probably news to you. That's because it's been ignored by the BBC, SKY and everyone else who has reported on the game. Is it just me who finds this unsettling and plain wrong?
These animals need to be shamed. There seems to be a pocket of white males stuck in the 1980s present in the support of Millwall and West Ham. It's as if there is a time warp in East and South London.
The sooner Millwall are forced to fold the better for football on the whole. It's moved on, it doesn't need the damage that they do to the game. At the end of the day, having to put away fans in a cage for their own safety says more about Millwall than any letter could.

Wouldn't they just round up the number to 1,500 instead of having such a random number of tickets allotted to Millwall supporters?

typical "australian" premiership fan.
Firstly, as far as I am aware the game is not on tv. Secondly, nothing beats being at the game. Watching from the stands is infinetely better than watching on tv.

In that case, why not ban all away fans from every ground in the country?

The last paragraph says it all, this bloke was not even at the game. There is no cage at Millwall that away fans are put in. Below is a picture of the away end at The Den, can you see any cages or even fencing.
Bottles on the pitch, Millwall are a club that the press love to jump all over and now we're supposed to believe that you want this covered up. I'm sorry but that's laughable if you know anything about the press and their hatred of Millwall.
Marlon King would have been abused for being a car thief and a Millwall reject. He may have received abuse using racial words, I have no idea I wasn't there but the abuse was not because he was black. Black would have been the descriptive word. Zigic from what I was told took more abuse than King did on the day for diving and cheating. He's white, so clearly not a race thing.
As i said earlier, I don't even believe this person was at the game. That picture shows their is no cage. This writer clearly has forgotten 1995 when birmingham spent the whole day trying to attack Millwall, including at one point a fire extinguisher being thrown from the tier above at Millwall fans.
Oh and finally, it's hardly Millwall's fault how we were portrayed in Green St Hooligans is it, does the bloke not realise it was a movie not a documentary.

for the hope of getting in, the hope of picking up a ticket on the day.
I think it was in 95, I went to northampton away without a ticket along with another 100 odd. The Northampton police actually got a section moved to accomodate us, as it was easier to police us in the ground than milling around outside.

Why is it easier? Why, if you can't get a ticket after turning up on the off chance, don't you just go home and watch the scores update on the internet?
The police wouldn't have any problems, if fans didn't cause problems.

When they couldn't, you know what they did.... they left the ground, and went to the pub. No trouble, no need for a police escort.

By the time I had got home to watch the scores on the internet, the game would have been over.
In a eutopian world, there would be no trouble but we all know that Millwall v west ham there are going to be some issues. With the fans all inside the ground in one area, the problems are controlled.
It's not even just Millwall, as if west ham fans aren't going to try and get to these Millwall supporters in little pockets around the ground.
As for the police wouldn't have problems if the fans didn't cause problems. Sorry mate, but you've clearly never seen the way most away fans (especially Millwall) get treated at football. I've been punched and had my shirt ripped by a policeman at football just because I was a Millwall fan in (ironically enough) Birmingham.

2) afl doesn't have the same atmosphere
3) there was 2 of them, we're talking about 1,000 people here.
4) afl doesn't have the same rivalries, no one would have been trying to get to them from the opposition.
5) you don't have home and away sections in afl
