Maybe everyone doesn't adore AUFC

Last time I checked it's not an AUFC supporters only forum

So no need to tell them to 'F OFF'

The U/16 Boys and the U/13 Girls are in a strong position to make the Semi Final stages of the Nationals after some impressive results in the first few rounds. Hope they continue this form.

If the U/13 Girls beat Victoria this afternoon they will be favourites to take the title. Tony Scalzi has done a great job so far.

What National championships are these? The are only run in January and in Canberra? Where have been the trials and the advertising for trials? Or is this just another 'job for the boys'..mates of the coach kids type national championships?

FFA Nationals will be held in Canberra in January 2013. The FFA have decided to streamline the competition by having only 1 team per state per age group. There has been a lot of backlash from the Eastern states about this because their talent pool is so large and the supposed weaker teams are doing just as well if not better than the stronger teams. Eg nsw lightning beating nsw thunder. Won't affect us too much though.

Hopefully a senior mens team is taken this year. It will be good to compete against players that have played in the F-League and recent FAFL Cup.

Trials might not start for a few weeks.

And will the trials be open to "all" or a selected few?

Normally the coach will ask who they want to go then see who is interested and trial from there. That's what's happened in the past.
