Due to work commitments our reserve team and assistant Keven Dickman as well as our U/19's coach Chris Leyland are unable to continue with Gawler Eagles next year, and as part of a re-structure with our junior improvement and development, our U/17's also require a coach.
The U17's and U/19's will form a senior development squad and both coaches will need to work particularly close to each other for player movement and development, and of course the reserve team coach and assistant to the first team will need to share the same philosophy of player development and promotion.
Anyone interested to know more about the positions can contact me on 0404 188 746 or e-mail j.duthie@yahoo.com.au and will explain the positions in more detail.
We would love to have all coaches in place prior to player trials commencing in October for the development squad, and I urge anyone interested and hold the relevant coaching licences to make contact as soon as possible.
Kindest Regards,
John Duthie

What accreditation is required to coach reserves and where do you get it from?

Hi Chico,
To coach the 17's and 19's you require a 'youth licence' and to coach the reserves and be assistant to the first team you need to hold a 'senior licence or higher.
Hope this helps.
