Why would you play overage players in a cup semi final when you know you are going to be under scrutiny?

Better that someone check whether the Campbelltown coach had the appropriate coaching licence

Close game for 1st half, went down to watch the talisman of this side, he did more damage to his team than help.

Dribble dribble dribble lost ball all afternoon, in saying that great effort by the croydon team but imo and I aint anything special their main player was the main issue. Great skills for the lad but it is a team game.

Their number 14, is a real talent and I'm surprised he didn't rip West to shreds! Are west any good or did Croydon play poorly? Para won other semi quite easily so will it be a para white wash in the final?

Talent yes, but you can't beat 7 players, you need to pass the ball, as I said all I seen was player with great talent try to take on every player and everytime he lost it.

He did score a nice freekick, which WA replied to in 2 seconds from the restart.

Oh well, they are kids after all and hopefully he learns from this experience. A semi final is a massive learning opportunity. Maybe his coach asked him to dribble past the whole team?? WA score after 2 secs?? WA have more chances or did no.14 have more?

Are West Adel any good? Sitting top of JPL A div doesn't happen by fluke!!
It was a tough game sure and at half time both teams were evenly matched, though i tend to think West were playing below their best. Second half, no.14 did try to take on the whole West Adel team who lifted and finally ran all over Croydon (who by the way have got a lot of decent players besides no. 14), but in the end the West boys were and are a solid tough unit, and having beaten Para twice this year, the final should be a ripper!!

He had one shot on goal allday, the free kick, however that was more than the entire squad, but they couldn't shoot cos he didn't pass, and as I stated 3 times already he lost it every time so no one could shoot. I think the rest of the team out shined NO14 as they played together.

Sounds like it may be a good final. Might have to come early to view this one before the big boys later in the day. I didn't say WA was lucky or a fluke if they are top, just posing a question. Might be a ripper game vs Para, but hopefully the big pitch doesn't make it too difficult.
