TTG should appeal the decision as a legal game could have been played ( cards available) from a mix of a's & b's.
How can the SAASL still award the game to Southcoast based on this?
A legal game was ready to be kicked off when wanker ref left the scene.

from the info said on here gully told the ref they had no cards, should have either forfeit b's when this was realised or b team play 2 gamesmugsy wrote:TTG should appeal the decision as a legal game could have been played ( cards available) from a mix of a's & b's.

Re: TTG Forfiet vs South Coast
The game probably wasnt awarded to south coast due to no cards, it was probably awarded on the fact the ref felt threatened, which is fair enough after the besa dibacle.
Re: TTG Forfiet vs South Coast
TTG could not forfeit the B's as the B grade were already playing when this was realised. TTG were going to play the B's a 2nd time in the A grade (as those cards were available) however TTG checked with the SAASL who sanctioned the game as long as they could provide the players rego numbers (which they could) and have the actual cards there by the end of the game. the referee obviously thought he was above the SAASL decision and said he would only allow a game to start if the player cards were present.
this resulted in a TTG player walking into the referee room saying "You are a fucking wanker ref" and that is why the game was forfeited. i am a south coast boy but i still think it was harsh.

Bigdawg, it was gunna be a mix of a's who had cards & balance of b's.
Two sides to every story, no player enterred the ref's room & abused him, that's the ref's story.
No, Im not the said team manager either.
I say the club appeals as a legal game could have been played
Re: TTG Forfiet vs South Coast
by the sounds of it you should be able to appeal, but if the ref was abused by anyone associated with ttg, then i dont like your chances after the besa thingmugsy wrote:bigdawg wrote:TTG could not forfeit the B's as the B grade were already playing when this was realised. why not tell the b's to walk off and forfeit when this was found out?
was the ref told calmly when discussing the situation that cards and rego numbers were/would be availabe in time? or was he just told no cards?
Re: TTG Forfiet vs South Coast
only hearsay about the ttg player abusing the ref. as for the ref being told calmly i did see a ttg player approach the ref and calmly explain and politely plead their case. even the south coast players questioned the ref as to why no game, but the only thing the ref said was "No Game" as he walked to his car.DOC wrote:by the sounds of it you should be able to appeal, but if the ref was abused by anyone associated with ttg, then i dont like your chances after the besa thingmugsy wrote:bigdawg wrote:TTG could not forfeit the B's as the B grade were already playing when this was realised.
