Farm 3 - 0 East

I dont usually comment on refs but... Possibly the Sh*test ref we have had all year. He effectively ruined the game, with the first half giving free kicks against both sides for the SOFTEST of fouls. Both teams had it against them and were hating life... Farm scored a relatively soft goal, with a ball being cut back from the goal line, and Luke Air scoring again with a simple tap in.

The second half we had most of the running I felt (Biased I know), and thought we were going to tie it up... but it never quite clicked. Then the ref simply missed Farm taking a quick free kick that was CLEARLY rolling, and the keeper was rounded and Cox scored.... Then in the final minutes Luke scored again to end it...

That loss certainly hurt more than most...

Also heard Asteras Forfieted against TTG. Such poor form... As I understand it to make things worse they played a scrath match with enough players during the reserves time slot...

A Team

Beach 1 - Fulham 1

Fairly even game and a draw was probably a fair result.

Fulham missed what was probably the best chance of the game in the 1st half but Beach probably enjoyed more posession on the whole.

Fulham jump out of the relegation zone with the point.

B Team

Beach 2 - Fulham 0

Beach just wanted it more - Fulham just looked off its game today.

C Team

Beach 6 - Fulham 5

Goals galore but Beach did enough to win it.

fairly good round up there Monkey Boy

Agree with the goal that came from the free kick, but hey that's the game and players shouldn't rely on the ref to be switched on all the time

Southern Knights ( 2 ) ISC Raptors ( 2 )
Matt Harrison, Glen Crute

Reserves.
Southern Knights ( 0 ) ISC Raptors ( 6 )

Knights came back from a first half 0-2 deficit to level the game with about 10 minutes to go...nearly snatched a win at the end.
Special thanks to all the Raptors players and supporters who patronised our canteen all day and came in after the game .

Would be happy with the win nugget but brooks getting sent off would have taken the gloss off the win.

I can imagine he was given heaps from florina - did that have anything to do with the send off?

First yellow for celebrating his assist towards Florina fans, didn't even bother to congratulate his team mate on scoring. 2nd yellow for a silly tackle late in the game.

Also don't understand why a gardens fan had to be restrained from the referee after the game, isn't 3 points good enough?

Actually MB wouldn't call it a forfeit just yet!! The game was called off because of the sudden death of one of the players mothers, who also has a couple of nephews that play & is also the aunty of the president of the club and being a close nit group at Asteras it was asked if the game could be called off!! It is now up to the league to decide if the game will be played at a later date or if TTG will get the points!!

A bit harsh to call it "such poor form" if u don't know the facts!! Yes Asteras might be struggling with points on the park but aren't the type of team to forfeit cos of results!!

You forgot mention the sh*t he was given by the Florina crowd which is why he went to them!

All understandable & all in a day of football...

He also scored as well as the assist, so that's 9 Goals from as many Games so doing his job for the Gardens!

It is disappointing to lose him but that's why you have a Reserve squad someone else will get a opportunity.

I was shocked to see Beach beat your Reserves what happened there???

Don't have any association with either team but to call the game off was wrong - Asteras should lose the game full stop.

Condolences to those concerned but a minute silence across the grades would have been the way to go..

If Asteras couldn't cover 3 or 4 players that were affected then the club has other issues.

And further more the scratch match that was played was with TTG giving Asteras about 4 players to make 11 v 11!! Hardly enough players really!! That game should've also been called off!!

Across all grades beach will always fight and we didn't expect anything less.

We just looked a little flat in the b team and beach took advantage of that -,not much else to it..I wouldn't say beach annilated us as it was not like that - they just took there chances.
