Don't go to Victor Harbour, the crown closes down at midnight if they find out there are two football end of season trips there.

Re: End of Season Trips
The Downs +35s went there last year and the Crown stayed open till late. Funny, as there were at least 3 different netball clubs on their end of season trip as well. We went home thinking "great 3 netball teams". (Geez some of them had long legs) Im sure they went home thinking "great a bunch of ageing soccer dudes". A few of us had forgotten what to do with a nubile young women Im sure a lot of them thought of us as a bunch of dirty old men.BlackBrian_7 wrote:Don't go to Victor Harbour, the crown closes down at midnight if they find out there are two football end of season trips there.

We were there last year & Playford was there as well they thought that they didn't have enough security there so decided to close up early due to the potential for trouble.htfac wrote:The Downs +35s went there last year and the Crown stayed open till late. Funny thing was one of their players had come with us for end of season trip and a couple of us pretty much knew most of the rest of them.

Re: End of Season Trips
Brahma Boys will be heading to the Gold Coast as well but not till early January for the Magic Millions race day. Went there in 2010 and had a great time. Even had the Utd v Gold Coast game on that weekend as well... but not this time unfortunately
Learned our lessons about flying with Tiger on that trip.... never again. Nothing worse that having to be at the airport by 8am for the flight home, hungover and having the flight delayed by 2 hours.

Haha.... n o better way to start a new season off than to write yourself off for 4 days and hopefully pick a couple of winners at the track.bloodypassit wrote:So is that an end of season trip or pre season trip lolI_am_Costanza wrote:Brahma Boys will be heading to the Gold Coast as well but not till early January for the Magic Millions race day.
