You've got to be kidding yourself if you really thought Harry Kewell was coming to Adelaide - got more chance of getting Prince Harry here.
Re: No Harry

Re: No Harry
After an injury plagued season I think both Tim Cahill and David Moyes would rather the Everton front man to take a few months away from football to recover, rather than play in a couple of friendlies in AUS.Chelsea4thewin wrote:what about Cahill?

Re: No Harry
There was never a chance of Harry coming here - bottom line is that Harry doesn't care for the Australian public that like lambs worship him blindly with nothing in return - he pushed through his (cheap) transfer to Liverpool and then as an ex Leeds player went to Galatasaray - like I said, Harry does what Harry wants and to hell with everyone else - truth hurts?DOC wrote:well he doesn't have a club so yes there was a good chanceOldRedback wrote:You've got to be kidding yourself if you really thought Harry Kewell was coming to Adelaide - got more chance of getting Prince Harry here.

At least DOC does not blame the demise of other teams on the Kiwis. Hypocrite.soccernuts wrote:they are not even in our confederation, makes no sense to have them in the league, while aussie a league franchises go under.

Re: No Harry
Lucas Neil came and wanted to play. Had a groin injury so couldn't BUT, he sat on the bench, led his team on and then spent a large part of the second have doing 'warm up' drills at the northern end. He would have known he wasn't going to play and could have worn a suit in the stand or stayed in the motel, but he was out in the rain showing himself to the fans. So was Ogdog.
Maybe I'm just starry eyed but I think Lucas showed that he thinks of his countrymen and believes he has a responsibility to us. I respect him for that.
Harry?
He's delicate physically, we know that, and it's no real surprise he was injured again, but maybe if he followed his captain's example a little more ...
