There has been a heap of Predictions before the start of the season by most Formites without even a game played,
now that we've played 2 games no one want's to predict anything quite strange..

i predict who ever comes top will be accused of spending sh*t loads of money . getting all the 50/50 calls from the refs
and the team that comes last will use excuses of injuries, refs etc

With more than a Quarter of the season now played, have thoughts & predictions changed at all?

TOP 4
1. GARDENS - Vale Home, Beach Away, Grove Home, Florina Home.
2. PONTIAN - East Home, Downs Away, Farm Home, Vale Away.
3. DOWNS - Fulham Away, Pontian Home, East Away, Grove Home.
4. GROVE - Beach Away, East Home, Gardens Away, Downs Away.

The next 4 games will be crutial to Champion aspirations, Pontians with probably the hardest Run to the Halfway Mark!

Interesting to compare the tables after Round 5 from 2010 & 2011 some similarities with the promoted teams pretty well having similar results to those that were relegated but the big changes are Florina & Farm to some extent. Will see what happens after Round 9 Farm no doubt will bounce back as they have some depth with other teams doing well but I'm concerned about Florina between 3 team they have only scored 9 & conceded 58 with only 1 point for all 3. Im sure we will see some improvement Id hate to see my good friends at Florina being relegated. On positive note its good to see the Gardens in a similar position with B's & C's improving also

It is an interesting season. Since Hoey has gone back to Florina, the leaks in their defence have stopped. Beach are a team of battlers and look very good going forward. We are playing well enough to be higher than were we are but results are not going our way. East are getting good runs on the board early and with their home ground advantage plus playing very well, its hard to see them drop. Grove could become vulernable with Boree out for who knows how long. Its going to ge a very interesting year. Knowing my luck, Fulham and West Beach will go down.

As for the top, Gardens didn't play very well against us and still won 2-0. Downs were solid against us and won 2-1. Gardens have never played that well at our ground though and whilst I was more impressed with Downs comparing the two performances, I still see Gardens having the depth and the ability to go back to back. Pontians will push both of them but I can see them finishing 3rd or 4th.

Its going to be Very difficult for Florina only having only one point & still to play Farm, Vale, Beach & Gardens before the Halfway mark.
Pontian & Grove also have 4 very difficult games....

It's interesting to see the correlation between most Clubs 1st Team Position to there Reserves & C-Teams positions on the League Table. I believe its proof of the Clubs player depth & probably the most important Club stat. Easties looking good with Reserves & C-Team both top on the flip side Florina are looking in big trouble with Reserves & C-Team both sitting bottom. I believe Vale, Pontians & the Grove depth might be shown between Rounds 11-18.
