Croydon has an excellent U/15 side winning the "A League, & there U/12's played in the junior "A League" but I think all the other Croydon teams play in "B Leagues".

Para Hills won both the U/13 & U/14 "A Leagues"
Campbelltown the U/17 A League
Modbury the U/16
Cumberland the U/12 A League

Adelaide City also finished in the top half of all "A Leagues" they played in.

I think the only junior clubs to have teams qualify for every "A League next year are, Para Hills, Adelaide City, Campbelltown & Cumberland.

So any of those clubs would have the strongest players.

Sorry guys B & C Leagues don't count.

best juniors are at the panthers. the 23s squad is made up of predominately 16 and 17 year olds. maybe 1 or 2 players over that age.

para hills are really stepping up in the junior ranks, at the trails on the wk end there were plenty of lads trying out para hills. was a great site to see so many keen young lads trying out already! and sunday was the first trial of the yr!

:?: That's funny Gers. Some would say the 17's squad was made up of U/23's....!!! Just read some of the Adelaide City comments on previous posts. No question that Para have a great set up.

what absolute rubbish. If there are only two players over the age of 17 in that 23s squad i'll eat my hat.

I played against them last game of the year.

Fairly young squad. If they're young thay're certainly big for their age.

BUt just because they're young does not imply they're good!!!

Yer jaffa toff (chis reed) and hitman (brett rayner) are both quailty players and should play a big part in the panthers future if they can hold onto them which they have failed to do so in the past. and i expect them to continue to do so

There's a little fella (name is something like Yemin?) who played as a striker (sometimes midfield) for Modbury U13's this season gone. He's sensational - especially considering his size. He's their best goal scorer by a mile. Bundles of energy and pace and you can't fault his enthusiasm. He made the U13's zone team too.

Best Youth would hav to be croydon from U11-15 then from 17-19 would hav to be either Metrostars which had about 10 players from the age of 15-17 in U19s or white city who had 7 players from the age of 15-17 in there squad

Thats right we were Champions and that was the last game of the year.

Earlier in the year when the title was still up for grabs, we gave Panthers a nice 5-0 flogging.

Didnt c 2 much talent wen we played them. Werent a bad side, but ddnt have any real superstars...just some loud-mouth piece of shit at the back!!

you flogged panthers 5-0 when there was roughly 4 youth in the team. you drew 1-1 when it was all youth except 3 players, one of those a goalkeeper. whats that say?
