Re: Saturday Division 4, 5, 6, 7
I should say Stirling has a side in Division 5.
Where are the Vipers?
Master Kong are Breakers fielding a C Team this year? If so, for me in a perfect world 8 out of 10 Div 2 sides should have there C sides together.
And then possibly Striling 2 to go to Division 5?
Division 6 to be
Old Ignatians
Northern Wolves
One Tree Hill
Hahndorf + 35
McLaren Districts
Mt Lofty Eagles
Flinders 3
Strathalbyn
CCMU (anyone know who they are?)
Gleeson/FC Adelaide/Monarchs?

Re: Saturday Division 4, 5, 6, 7
I think CCMU might be that Parafield Gardens team? lefty confirm?
I counted four Division 3 'C' sides across the divisions. Perhaps it would be easier to have three of them in Division 5 so that there are seven Div 1s and three Div 3s and the SAASL can just line their numbers up in the spreadsheet so that they match each other for home games?
Division 6 appears to be the 'one team' league, with three random 'C' teams thrown in.

Re: Saturday Division 4, 5, 6, 7
I think there's a second Vipers 'C' team to go in there as well.
It's a shame that there are only 7 Div 1 'C' sides.

CCMU play at Windsor Gardens Voc College, if that helps.
At last look, the fixtures were all over the shop, so I'm patiently waiting for after the "review date" cutoff.

Re: Saturday Division 4, 5, 6, 7
Southern Breakers planned to field a C Team, but we had a lot of younger players leaving the area, etc. and we are now fielding an U/18 School team that has a few females playing in it who can't play in the C team.Paleon Patros Germanos wrote:I should say Stirling has a side in Division 5.

So we notified SAASL last week that we couldn't guarantee a team every game and so decided to pull out our C team to save forfeiting at the last minute.
It is very disappointing for our club but we should be right next year once our U/18's are older.
If there are any byes this year, I'm sure we may be able to get the odd triple header happening if other clubs want the match practise.

Re: Saturday Division 4, 5, 6, 7
Our club president spoke to the SAASL today regarding Div 5. There are 8 teams registered with each team playing each other twice. That means each team will only play 14 games. Is that how all the other 8 team leagues have been run in the past? I can't understand why there aren't 21 rounds playing each other 3 times. After all we don't play cup games.

Has happened the last few years for some of our lower Div sides. Who was the 8th team that entered?Bodes wrote:Our club president spoke to the SAASL today regarding Div 5. I blame your club for getting demoted and St Peters for getting too big and submitting an A/B in Div 4. Bastards! It's probably best for my 39 year old body to get more recovery time anyway.Kitchimo wrote:Has happened the last few years for some of our lower Div sides. I don't know who the 8th team is, just what the league said.

Just going by what the league told us. 12 games would hardly be worthwhile.

Anyone from Hahndorf???...........Why is your c side in div 6 when the rest of the Div 2 c sides in Div 7....

Anyone know where to get the guidelines for Div 7(c) in regards to the 'rolling sub' rule?

Thats really odd because last year every game we played home and away the subs weren't limited but of course we never tested it with us having no subs
