Wanna take ur 11year old to play at Adelaide City?
It'll cost you $720.
Give me a break.
Get real you guys.
Keep pumping the kids fees into senior wages, well done.

my experience is that it costs approxametely $ 520 to put a child on the park if you have under 230 juniors.
So if you don't get enough money from fees you need to get an income from some other source.
Most kids want to play at bigger/successfull clubs with the best senior squads, facilities and coaches, it costs big time.

Bill trophys are on the way courtesy of a local business 150 of them donated, I am just trying to get the name so I can thank them publicly.
Many other media outlets and businesses are getting involved and the club will live to fight on, bigger and stronger than ever, and with close links to the Fed Club as well.
forza, I was just trying to work out what you were saying, no malice intended

Cr@p..... My club charges no where near $520 per child and i reckon our cost are as much if not more than yours. $720 is not justifiable.
is it about playing in winning teams or development???????????corona wrote:rosso nero like nova said no one i s holding a gun to your head , if your not happy to pay the fee move on , but you find parents want there son to play in winning teams and thus pay . sad yes but true .

There's two types of parents, rational and irrational, one of them pays $750!
There's two types of coaches, one who developes kids and one who developes an ego!
There's two types of clubs, one that focus' on winning at all cost and the rest of them develope kids
You work it out, it's your money and your kids!
Gremio, im not from Ad City but that price in real terms is nothing, lets say:
Playing Uniform $70 - Quality gear rather then cheap stuff.
Training gear $50 x 2 - again quality gear
Ball - average $15
jacket - $60
Registration - $6.50 to ffsa
Registration- $11 to ffa
Team Registration - total $250 per team - so probably average $13 per player to ffsa
Insurance - $200 per team - average $11 per player to ffsa's insurance place.
council rates - probably $15 per player to cover
bills, bills, bills - porbably $30 per player to cover
team equipment - probably made up of bibs, cones, step ladders, training poles - lets say $15 per player
lets say that all comes to $300
the remaining $420 works out to say average 5 hrs a week for training and matches time by 35 weeks (includes preseason and trials, aswell as season) - training costs
Thats 175 hours of service the clubs provides for about $2.40 an hour!
It costs something like $10 a session to do karate, it costs like $10 a session to do swimming!
$720 is a lot of money, but its a service in the end, and if your happy at the end with the service, your not going to complain about $2.40 an hour

$420 left over multiplied by say 300 kids = $126,000 + raffles + canteen + sponsorship!
Not a bad business, but not everyone can afford it and I don't thing anyone bugets by the hour!
But if you do, you can go to another club for $1.50 an hour!
It's easy to justify anything or make something look better than what it is!
My wife costs me about 20 bucks an hour(maybe more), if I traded her in for a cheaper model that was only 5 bucks an hour plus the 10 bucks an hour alomomy, that would be only $15 dollars an hour!
Would I be better off? I guess it's my choice

You know i didn't even realise Enfield had junior team, lol.rossonero wrote:enfield city's junior fees are around $270 aswell and they offer the same as Para Hills, deffenitely cheaper than most clubs and still competitive, these clubs should defenitely be considered for junior trials.
Please don't compare them to Para Hills.

Para fees were VERY reasonable last year and included a full tracksuit but they were not $270. Check with the club and they will tell you the correct dollar figure. Hopefully be about the same this year.
