You really think FC Adelaide will drop that far? I reckon they will be back in line for promotion straight away.

Judging on last years efforts and the strength of teams now competing in Sat Div's I wouldn't be surprised! They're a good bunch of guys but I think they may struggle- as are many other teams in Div 3.

Agreed, Monarchs were unlucky not to go up last year and are my tip to win it.

Havn't seen Red Blue Eagles play but heard their quite strong, looking forward to taking on the Pumas third year running and hoping to finally break the duck at both levels, Uni and Bridge to go down and hoping our boys can hold mid-table again this season....

Why have Flinders dropped off so much? Judging by the predictions, it seems their main team has really lost its way since a couple years back...

monarchs and flinders were good in div 3 last year, i reckon they will be up the top with the teams that got relegated from div 2

Chatting to someone at the pub,Flinders have lost nearly all of last years first team, lot of them are doing it Collegiate style. Their Reserves did well,but it will be a tough ask to keep them competitive in div 3A -he was hoping they pick up a couple during " Uni - Rego " Day ?

i didnt put the teams in the order i thought they would finish, i was just thinking of the teams in my head, and thats what order i remembered them.
i am new to this so didnt realise i could just quote a previous list.

Of course, Adelaide Uni Orange is probably just an Adelaide Uni (4) but the SAASL listed it as such to get around the rule? Someone from AU fill us in?

pumas have lost/replaced 8 first team players from last season so its a totally different side

hopefully we can still be in the upper half of the table

Tough though, don't know that much about the majority of the teams but looking at the table from last year and results of those demoted/promoted looks to be a tight season. Monarchs probably the only pick you can be sure of.

AU Orange, as far as I'm aware is a new team that takes a lot of alumni from the other teams (Blacks, Whites, Blues, Reds) and makes a sort of "super uni old collegiates team".

Guys who may otherwise have retired, but figure "stuff it, I'll go a couple more rounds with the mates and lads we've seen on the other side of the uni divide"

I believe people write them off based on the fact that basically we are all taking a stab in the dark and actually have no idea what we are talking about...

But with the info about the pitch size, Iggies for the spoon... Rumors have it they will play on some BIG pitches away from home this season.

I was watching that game...how can a deliberate hand ball by the last defender be a questionable red card, especially as it was going to go over his head to a Uni player running forward on his own for a 1 on 1 with the GK? Got to love excuses!
