OISC are pleased to announce that Bill Cagialis will continue as the the A Grade coach in season 2011.

Bill was always the preferred candidate of the committee, but advised us to advertise for the role as he wasn't sure that he could commit for the year due to his new job. After he informed us that he would be able to full commit to the role, we were delighted to reappoint him. Bill is excited about the new season and we all hope that the success of 2010 can be built upon and replicated in 2011.

OISC are also pleased to announce that Lenny Vella will coach the B Grade in season 2011.

Lenny was most recently the B Grade coach of Elizabeth Downs, and remembers our setup fondly after the thrilling encounter between Downs and our B Grade in the Reserve Cup this year. Lenny has previously had a long association with Salisbury Inter. We welcome Lenny to the club and wish him every success at OISC.

Our Christmas Drinks are this Friday 17 December at 7pm at the Robin Hood Hotel. All are welcome to to come down and meet the lads and the coaches.

We are still seeking coaches for our Division 3A and 3B teams (C Grade and D Grade). Please PM me if you are interested, all interest will be kept confidential.



Preseason 2011

The 2011 preseason will commence on 25 January 2011 at 7pm at our home ground at Glenunga. It will continue on Thursday 27 January, and then subsequently on every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday until the start of the season.

We envision that we will again field 6 teams in the SAASL, but this will be determined by players numbers and whether the Saturday Over 35 competition is given the go ahead.

Trial matches will begin with internal trials on 19 February 2011.

The season proper starts on Saturday 2 April 2011.

Had a chat with him, seems like a decent enough bloke even if he was wearing some irish clubs shirt. He's already told me I won't be playing B's this year, after saying that Muscat was a Rangers legend.
