He is performing consistently, which was the only thing missing from his game last season.

Very much needed, considering the loss of Valencia and Giggs slowly losing his legs (may end up seeing Rooney back on that left wing).

he's one of those players that needs responsibility in order to step up, without it, he's just happy to be a bit part player.

You can really tell he's got this fire about him this year.

Got a bit of skill, can score goals, but a diving wimp who you'd have little hesitation in giving a backhander.

yeh hes been great this season. 1 thing i dont rate is during corners why he always plays a short ball, hes great at freekicks and finding the targer, id like to see him whip the corner in, instead of going in short....
woulda been great to have him in this form with valencia on the other wing

Thats what I love about Man United. Players always steps up when were in trouble and help us remain competitive.

As Litmanen stated, with C. Ronaldo gone and Rooney having a stinker, Nani has taken it upon himself to be the star. It wouldn't surprise me if Sir Alex brought in Nani because he knew C. Ronaldo wouldn't be a long term prospect.

He may be a diving brat. But the kids got skill and that trumps all the negatives.

Undoubted skill and a great turn of pace but won't win any friend with his diving and poor sportsmanship.

That's hilarious, because every other team this season have already won much better trophies.

Just decided to tell the world in a press conference that he is in the top 10 players in the world.

Im glad he thinks that of himself, because there are at least 10 players I would buy before that git.

Rooney has been shit but they have guys like Nani, Berbatov and Hernandez who have all stepped up. If only Liverpool could do that when Torres is injured

well since Ronaldo has gone you have won a league cup and a community shield, if this is the trophy's nani wants to win because he is meant to be Ronaldo's replacement right??

he may need to try a different club for trophys people will remember

Those statements are utterly ridiculous. It's, what, three months into the season? Remind me, what trophy has Chelsea won in that time? Also, to say Nani was brought in as a replacement isn't true. But, hey, think what you like.
(By the way, it's Cristiano Ronaldo, not Ronaldo, unless you actually think Manchester United had the World's best fat Brazilian striker. But I'm just sayin'.)

Anyway, why are you even trying to argue? WHAT are you even trying to argue?

sorry was meant to quote MUFC oops

well he wants to win trophy's, i think most players want to

just cant see man united pushing for major trophies with the owners not bringing in any big names to the club, unless Bebe is your idea of a big name player

and why would i need to say christiano ronaldo, the topic was started as Nani, why didnt you pick me up on that too?

We already know your valid opinion about Javier Hernandez and Bebe has scored two in three games already... or are you suggesting Chelsea have done a lot better, bringing in the big names like Delac, Kalas and Ramires? At least Hernandez made a name for himself at the World Cup.
(And don't you dare say Benayoun is a big name or I swear to Jesús Navas I will take away your Internets. Don't make me take off my belt.)

Chelsea4thewin wrote:and why would i need to say christiano ronaldo, the topic was started as Nani, why didnt you pick me up on that too?
Nani is his footballing name, not Luís Carlos Almeida da Cunha, which is completely different from Cristiano Ronaldo, which is both his footballing name AND his FIRST name, his full name being Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro.
