pretty entertaining game in the first half, 2-2 going into the break, this bullut kid looks pretty handy, 7 goals for the tournament, cant believe north korea made all their 3 subs b4 the 38minute mark

terrible second half.... deserved to loose. we didnt take our chances and defensively we really really struggled. pretty peeved that we just gave the north koreas the title on a silver platter.

Unfortunate but should serve as motivation for the u20 world cup next year. Lots of positives to take out of this tournament, was really impressed with our midfield and attack. Need more organisation in defence and be a bit quicker in transition to do well next year. Bulut really impressed, maybe the striker we need for 2014?

And people were surprised when the U-23s lost to DPRK as well.

I was also impressed with midfield and strikers but have to agree the defence was terrible.

McGowan had a day i am sure he would rather forget! A real shocker...........

Bulut needs to learn some humility and acknowledge team mates that set him up - but he was very good in first half. For me Oar was standout for us. I was disappointed with Leckie - Oar made things happen but Leckies forays didn't amount to much in this game IMO. Gwan from Korea with three goals - wonderful player. Thought our defence lacked pace and some sloppy disposal that nearly cost us.

There were a few defenders in the Croydon and ABE U16s this year that could do a better job :P

And don't forget the wonderful defenders in AC U16's

agreed. did you see the look on Oar's face after bulut pushed him away twice after oar had run half the field and through 5 mids and defenders? he was pissed. for mine it was the turning point in the match. team spirit was rooted from there.

+ agreed. It's one of many people's pet hates where the guy who taps in a cut-back doesn't acknowledge the one who beat defenders to get to the line and set up the cut-back.

And aren't they moronic-looking when they race off to do their moron's celebration?

Would love to see him try that out on tim cahill. Having said all that, he does look to have a good eye for goal, and nice touch and movement around the box.

Yeh it totally stuffs up team spirit. If I was coach he'd be copping an earful after the game. Do it again and you start on the bench - don't care how good they are.
