U/15 - Croydon v Metro - title decider

Post by Bomber »

I believe final game, with winner effectively winning the title. Metro need draw only, Croydon must win.
Good luck Croydon boys, hope you win the double after a terrific cup final victory!

Both teams are very strong, all over the park. Croydon are more physical than metro, which will see them win 2-1

polonia , croydon need to improve after last week, very lucky to get away with three points. , but i still think they will win . 2-1. the coach showed a different side to himself when he was under pressure .

Heard that croydon were very lucky last week, got a penalty in the last five minutes.

should be a great game with both teams playing great this season. croydon and metro been very strong this year but metro should get the 3 points being more consistent throughout the season with croydon loosing to teams like birkalla, modbury and adelaide city. either way good luck to both teams and well done.

Both teams show too much arrogance. I agree with Bill Shankley, Birkalla deserved to do better. Pity teams like adelaide city, para hills and campbelltown couldn't be part of the photo finish.

Which way do both teams show arrogance?
And why is it a pity the above mentioned teams couldn't be part of the photo finish?
Didn't they play just as many games?

So what? This sort of unpredictability is why we love the beautiful game! It happens all the time...e.g. Italy vs Australia

Dear Bill

Re "shame birks have faded away "

Maybe a lack of discipline by the team contributed to the fade. Would be interesting to see how many red and yellow cards this team attracted during year.

Dont think coach helped much at all either

Congratulations to Croydon
most definately a lack of disclipine hurt, and it was a shame, they have the talent but not the mental capacity, most of the boys will struggle to make it past under 17s if they keep on going the same way.

U no what Birkalla u15s dont have a lack of discipline or a bad coach
If you wanta 2 c an undiscplined side look at playford hu started a fight with birks this year.
Also for Metro and Croydon its a pity they cant stick with the team they picked at the start of the year for the whole year. Dropping players that usually play up is pathetic, they only got where they did because they drop players. Notice Birks didnt drop a single player the whole year and still managed to finish 3rd. I say congrats to birks. And croydon and metro, try winning with ur normal team for once, have u ever thought about how it makes ur other players feel hu dont get much of a game when u drop players. Also birks best player broke his leg da week b4 da cup final and had 1 sent off in the final for a legitimate tackle outside of the box (which was payed a penalty and saved) so i say croydon were very lucky to get the win on that day!

Why would Croydon drop players, they've clearly been the best side for the last two years. They have quality players, and the times I saw them play it was always the same team. Birks were not as strong as Metro and Croydon, they did have some match winners in their side, but were not good enough to challenge for the top of the table. As for the cup round I thought they were lucky to get to the final.

but did u also notice that both years croydon stumbled when losing 2 sides like modbury this year and noarlunga last yr. Both those sides were down the bottom so they didnt drop players and they got cocky, then look what happened they got done by the 3rd bottom sides. I have seen them play numerous time and they have had sligtly different sides when playing against a stronger team like metro or birks or hills rather than the likes of noarlunga etc. Plus they have a bad coach.

i think heaps of the people in u15 birks team will go further than 17 some wont because of lack of comitment and some arnt good enough but over half dere team now will go further

Burto what do you notice about these teams, as you said they are bottom 3. This means they are fighting relegation, so I think you have mistaken the teams that have dropped players. The teams fighting relegation need to win to stay up, that means they will do anything necessary to do so, but I'm sure your right about Croydon being cocky, they would get surprised when they see a better squad playing against them.

P.S. I think your right about the coach
yeah i agree that the croyden coach is bad, but i beleive that birks did play very well this season, they have some very talented players in their team and will go far in the near future i think, i've seen a few games from birks and think number 13 controls the mid and has a really good touch , the guy with blonde hair in the centre of defence is a commanding player , the left winger all ways applys pressure and trys his hardest and the goalkeeper who can kick bigger then most A-Leauge goalkeepers is a great site to see. Overall this team did very well and were unlucky not to finish higher and win the cup bad luck boys.

P.S ADEALDIE OYLMPIC RULE :D
