thats Why
im ex federation i got 11 goals in 10 games live at modbury and played state until school got in the way. seeing as im only 18 and i played so few games and scored a number of goals at div 3 level i rate myself and others would back me up. being a striker its all about confidence and i got tonnes of it without having a big head. im willing to travel as far as it takes to play next season. its not about money its about paying football week in and week out.

Well then, you live at Modbury so Modbury Vista would be handy for you Division 2 SAASL is a good standard and all will agree it was the most competitive league last season.imanoutlaw wrote:im ex federation i got 11 goals in 10 games live at modbury and played state until school got in the way. seeing as im only 18 and i played so few games and scored a number of goals at div 3 level i rate myself and others would back me up. being a striker its all about confidence and i got tonnes of it without having a big head. im willing to travel as far as it takes to play next season. its not about money its about paying football week in and week out.
However, Vista don't need strikers ................... ohhhhhh yes we do.

Mate para hills east are a team worth looking at. We've just got promoted to the first div after one year in div2. There are a lot of ex-modbury players out there at the moment and its a great bunch of lads. You will however have to prove yourself where ever you end up going, coz amatuer div 1/2 is getting very tough. Im sure u have the skills and your right confidence is the key for any striker.

Confident young lad, sounds good.
If you want to play good football have a look at the Farm. There ain't may people on this forum who bagged the way we play, quality team football. Very good coaching staff.
On the money sode of things, an unproven player wouldn't get much anyway. Most clubs don't pay very much, generally bar vouchers if that's your thing, but with the steep drink driving laws these days some guys prefer not to get that. If you think your good enough, try the Farm, you might make a some extra bucks in your pocket to play aswell. For a yound lad, few extra bucks always goes well.

If you want to play in a young team (being a young lad) then its Modbury Vista mate. The squad is very young especially with a few retirements from last season
My advice is, find out when training starts for different clubs, and try before you buy. We don't pay players at Vista (which is a debate I'm not willing to get into thjis time) so all we cna offer is team work, fun and playing for the jersey. But if money floats your boat then try the Div 1 teams.

Re: Looking For A Club
As stated above your spoilt for choice of clubs in your area with PHE, Vista, Farm all good clubs with good squads. Obviously it's your choice from who to pick from of the above but if you want to play on a Saturday then Modbury Jets amateurs may be an option as we play Div 1 with a mix of young and older players from all backgrounds. I'm not going to say what we will play and that we are this or that but your welcome to come out for a few training sessions in the pre-season and see if you like it or not. If your interested send us a private message and i'll give you the details.
So Ingle Farm pay money then?TG01 wrote:Confident young lad, sounds good.
